Cheers for the input. I was going to use my Shure SRH840 headphones with my sock mod. They cancel a lot of sound out and are sealed back so really envelope you. They are comfortable to use for long stretches. Wasn't sure about a mic though.

I've heard people recomend the Snowball

Apparently they are pretty good and quite cheap. Either that or a Shure PG42USB

KB is something I'm going to have to research and test allot. I have big sausage fingers so I hit keys by mistake. I've looked in to this, the Gamdias Hermes KB

If you're weary of accidental key presses you'll definitely want to look into MX Blue or Green switches.
