The feature that no one ever asked for and the one that almost nobody ever used. I never saw an actual video of this feature, just screen shots on the GT website and so on. They uploaded a trailer at one time about "Gran Turismo vs real life" comparison and that's it. So here's an actual test video of this thing. I remembered @Jordan talked about this feature back in 2013 and how it actually starts right in the car parks, it actually does... well kinda as you can see from the video.

Not sure if this is a thread worthy but i thought i would like to share.

Well it don't look like he's going as fast as he should be going in gran turismo if it was someone who was unaware of what gps visualizer was but it looks cool but it is definitely useless..... Also wasn't there a member on gtplanet that owned a Nissan GT-R but would never get to use this?

I should have checked all the 5 files to see if he's driving faster. I think there's a reason why he slowed down during the latter half of the track.

I wouldn't say it's useless. You get a replay file of your lap with timing, and you can analyse the telemetry in the data logger or with the MoTeC software.

If I recall correctly it's only usable for 2 cars? A Toyota GT86 and Nissan R35 GTR?

Yep, only Toyota 86 and Nismo GT-R, not even the normal GT-R.

I would like this if you could actually use lots of cars on all the tracks in the game, but this is new technology. Maybe it would be a good idea in 10 years from now. It's ahead of its time, but in a bad way.

For those who did watch the video, i noticed something when i tried to load the first file of the list. It took a bit longer to load and then this happened...

Instead of selecting colours, i got to choose two different nismo GT-R with different HP. After you choose it goes to the replay like normal.

I suppose the first one is the stock spec in game while the second is the actual IRL car spec you've recorded on.

Looks like Snoop Dogg was driving at the beginning of the video. If I would've bought a Nismo gtr just to use this feature in gt6 I'd be pissed off, however in the parts it did work it looked impressive. Anyway thanks for uploading the video now I know what that feature I could never make use of looked like. 👍
