This Rare Ferrari Is a Tribute to the Famous Designer Sergio Pininfarina

I prefer the concept one. Ferrari should have released the concept one as a one off car only used for the track instead we get this 458 variant.

I'd disagree on 400 Superamerica Coupe, which looks like a E-type ripoff (which would somewhat make sense though).
:odd:

Perhaps I'm blind, but I don't see a 400 Superamerica in there. I do see a 275 GTB (the only car not mentioned), but even then I don't see many similarities between it and an E-Type. And, gor the record, I think the far more distinctive 400 SA mentioned bears even less resemblance to the cat.

Debatable. Even not taking elitists' hatred towards anything made in XXI century, F50 isn't that bad to not to deserve attention.
The 288 GTO (though not as stunning design-wise) and 410 Superamerica Series II are definitely great, but I'd disagree on 400 Superamerica Coupe, which looks like a E-type ripoff (which would somewhat make sense though).
Every other car though is way more significant to the company than the 458-rebodied Sergio.

The only similarities between the 275 & an E-Type is the body shape that other cars of that era had with long noses and short, rounded rears. If you wanna call it an E-Type rip-off, it could maybe go both ways; the 275 was an evolution of the 250 whose origin dates back to 1951 in the 250 Europa/MM cars which were SWB cars that had long noses and short, rounded rears.

Good god. Be still my beating heart.

Right? Those "plain" SAs (as opposed to some of the more austere bodywork provided for that chassis) occupy rarified air with the likes of the Voll & Ruhrbeck-bodied Horch 853 Sport Cabriolet and precious few other cars. And the sound of those big Tipo 126 Lampredi V12s...

Auction results were posted today; no sale. Doesn't bold well for the remaining 5 owners if they ever intend to sell.
