Thoughts on GT6 Intro (UPDATED: READ OP)

I loved the opening but I'm held aback by the rehashes of launch trailer clips. Dunno what to say.

Favorite intro for me is GT5 Spec 2.0. I'd say GT3 but that's just the nostalgia talking.

I don't know about you, but this'll be the first GT game in which I'll skip it all the time. It actually seemed better when I saw it without sound.

GT1-GT4 were the best, GT5 Spec II takes 5th.

I'm keeping video free so that it'll be a little extra special watching it for the first time. I already feel like I know too much.

GT5 Spec 2.0 is the pinacle of the GT intros.

It's a tie with GT4 japanese intro with MoTC. imho

Still my favorite intro ever. Such a great song, and those clips of old footage in the beginning give me shivers every time. No other GT can touch this (except maybe the first).

Intro starts off well enough. Once the music kicks in it falls flat, I didn't even finish the intro. The Gamescom trailer got me much more excited than the intro. The song choice from Gamescom (couldn't find the name of it) was so much better.

Very disappointing. it seems that they only took the trailer #6 and recycled almost all the footage. I hope that when I got my copy this will be corrected, if not... I will be disappointed from the very beginning.

I'm not going to watch it until the game is in my Playstaion. Still, from what I read, it doesn't sound brilliant.

PD have forgotten how to make great intros. GT5 1.0 & 2.0 we're complete garbage for Polyphony standards. If you want to see a great opening, watch the PAL GT2 opening.

This time around it doesn´t have that "goosebumps" effect that GT4´s and GT5´s ones. It is good though, but a lot of recycled parts from promotional trailers...nothing special this time.

Love it, but I need the name of the song.

I fee like somethings wrong with it.. i start to hear a remixed version of the daiki kasho song, and then we get some cheep one =/

It's another Daiki Kasho song, titled "All My Life" from the soundtrack list.

As for the intro, yeah, reused footage. But the song makes it awesome, so yeah, I like it.

As far as music is concerned, GT4's moon over the castle intro is my favourite. And anything is better than using My Chemical Romance as GT5 1.0 did. As for the trailer itself, I'm not particularly excited, but then most of this is footage from a previous trailer, where I was excited. The music is alright. He whines a bit on vocals but it's OK. For a PD intro, though, it's rather not very good. The footage was a bit bland. I'd have preferred something like GT4 and GT5 1.0 & 2.0 did, with the quiet, classical orientated start.

This has single-handedly brought GT2's intro to second place. And I thought that "My Favourite Game" by the Cardigans was best suited song for a Gran Turismo game.

The new intro has no soul. It's so bland compared to GT5 Spec 2.

Awful intro. Most of the clips were from previous GT6 trailers and I didn't like the music. Also did anyone else here the F1 car sound they dubbed over the FXX?
