I understand model year in the thread title of the car suggestion is requested but I left it out only because I could not establish any dates online. It's an extremely rare car so there is not much out there about it. It was a researched article also using personal knowledge amassed from years of being a Lambo enthusiast, full of pictures and links, long story short you just deleted something I spend considerable time and effort working on with no warning or chance to fix. PLEASE reinstate the thread as I can't even retrieve it cached. I can put model year in of 1996 which is very much feasible and is based on what I know of the Jota's production dates. Instead of requesting a thread resurrection, try observing the car suggestion guidelines, then see if the car has already been submitted, then make a new thread again.

How about reading what is written. I explained why I didn't initially put the year and for a reattempt am willing to make an educated guess for the model year that will be 99% accurate. I want to avoid recreating the whole post again it'll take a good half hour, and what if it just gets deleted again? Since the mod didn't notify me of the issue, I'm only assuming the year was the issue, but if there was another problem then I'll end up putting all that effort in for it to be deleted again. So I'll wait for a mod to tell me exactly what went wrong before I reattempt. And I had checked if that car had been posted.

Searching is always a good idea. :)

This could not be the car you tried to suggest, could it?

That response was abit much. He was just trying to make a suggestion, there was no need to blow him off like that.

His response was a generic fob-off of my post and seemed snarky to me.

That's what I though, hence why I deleted it.

If the R is a different beast, the thread is reinstated.

@Saf1 - the reason you received no notice that I deleted it was because you'd already posted in the threads I thought you had duplicated so I saw no need.

Doesn't mean you get to be snarky back.

I suggested the Diablo Jota R http://www.lambocars.com/diablo/diablo_se_corsa_and_jota_p-series.html A no compromise version of the already extreme Jota with many many modifications to reduce weight and unique components in the engine including fuel injection from Lambo's marine racing engines, revised intake system and exhaust and the first iteration of the front mounted oil cooler which would later appear in a similar way on the GT. It was only legalised for use in Japan. Another thing that makes it unique amongst all Diablos is that it has carbonfibre doors (P-Series) whereas all other Diablos had aluminium doors and steel roofs for safety reasons

Please see above, much appreciated. So to confirm, the model year can remain off or should '96 be in there?

Thanks so much TB, great to have it back :)

Eh, what?

Im just telling you step to step based on the basic experience at making threads. I dont know exactly why your thread was deleted nor if your car is already suggested. Thats why i said search first.

And then most likely if you dont follow the suggestion guidelines, mods (Famine most of the time) will enforce you to follow them. I dont want you to go into that mess and read the guidelines first in case if you forgotten.

And in most cases, request for thread resurrection is typically ignored except on specific circumstances. Long story short, im just guiding you bare bones. I dont really know you personally and also why should i snark to somebody who needs help anyway.

Since this link is suggesting two cars, doesn't that violate the guidelines of the suggestion forum?
The Jota kit converts the street legal SE30 into a car that is FIA compliant. Power goes up to 595hp (naturally aspirated power, in the mid 90s, nearly 600hp!) that's the main change (intake system & cams), a few others but the kit is just that. A kit over the same car. You're complaining about a 2 year old thread with 116 likes and 14 posts? And were the post to be split up into 2 threads complaints would've arisen from that as well...this was both the accurate and considerate way as the kit transforms the car but is an add-on for the base car. It's a major change but for a Lamborghini which have much bigger changes over their models the change is relatively minor and the car is the SAME just a kit on the Jota. How about everyone stop worrying about the Lamborghini threads pls. Tx

Since there were major changes between the variations of the model, and PD would consider 1 or 2 of them if we're lucky, this is just trying to ensure there are more Lambos in the game, or hoping :D
