List your three favourite songs of all time - the kind that you would take to a desert island with you, rather then flavour of the week stuff.

1) Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen
2) Creep - Radiohead
3) Every Breath you Take - Police

đź‘Ť

PS the title of the thread is spelt correctly...

1) Shook me all night long - ACDC
2) We Will rock you - Queen
3) Thunderstruck - ACDC

These are the songs ive liked since i started likeing songs. Ther arent my fav all the time but they seem to hang in there.

oh yes Bohemian is a legendary song. but here are my Favourite 3 songs

1) Man or Mouse - Millencolin
2) Black Lung - The Butterfly Effect
3) Bucket Bong - Frenzal Rhomb

1) George Gershwin - Rhapsody In Blue, the stage orchestra version
2) Jimmy Dale Gilmore - Just A Wave, Not The Water
3) Tool - Hooker With A Penis

I have a few more "Honorable Mention" candidates but I'll abide by the rules and limit it to three.

Hm.

1.) Crazy Train- Ozzy osbourne.
2.) Cant go wrong with Siglium Diaboli-H.I.M.
3.) And finnaly, Stairway to Heaven-Led zepelin. Which I'm listening to now.

no specific order:
DMX - One More Road to Cross
Santana - anything...if i gotta pick then... Nothing At All
Bone Thugs N Harmony - Tha Crossroads (remix)

one worth mentioning if u thought i forgot tupac...
Tupac - Thugs Mansion (feat. Nas)

This list could be endless, but if it had to be 3:

Guns n' Roses - Paradise city
Metallica - One
Man-O-War - Sting of the bumblebee

My favorite songs change a lot. But at the moment I have to say...(in no part. order)

Led Zeppelin-Traveling Riverside Blues
Jimi Hendrix-Hear my Train a Comin'
ACDC-Highway to Hell ( I actually forgot I had this song in my playlist. I think I just got it to say I had it and never listened to it. So i listened to it the other day and said hey this is pretty cool.)

My three favourites may be diff. 2-3 weeks from now.

Guns N' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Gimmie Three Steps
Guns N' Roses - Civil War

edit: an honorable mention would be O fortuna.

Van Halen - Panama

Joe Satriani - Crystal Planet

The Flock of Seagulls - Space Age Love Song

They are the songs I have to listen to on a frequent basis. So, I guess they are my three most favorite.

Three other songs that I was considering were:

Van Halen - 5150 (Live Without a Net- VHS)

ZZ Top - She's Just Killing Me

Tchicovsky(sp?) - 1812 Overture (I just love the idea of using artilery as a percussion instrument!)

I love that song. đź‘Ť Although I haven't quite learned it on piano yet.
I never got far enough to give it a try, but that was one of my goals when I was taking piano. If you limited this thread to one single piece of music you would be allowed to hear for the rest of your life, that would be it for me.

1. Rachmaninov - Piano Concerto No2
2. Chicane - Saltwater (Thrillseekers Remix)

There are heaps of (to use Neon_Duke's words) honourable mentions, but there are three for you.

1: Plaid "Cover Me (Plaid remix)"
2: Dead Can Dance "The Writing On My Father's Hand"
3: Download "Suni C"

Honorable three:

1: Rothko "Not Growing Out Of, Growing Into" a.k.a. "Halftones and Metatones"

3: Fridge "Sequoia"

Well... Off the top of my head.

P.S.: "Honourable" was misspelt.

Not sure at whom this is directed, but I spelled it correctly for someone on the left side of the pond, and Giles spelled it correctly for someone on his side of the pond.

Misspelt? That is the wackiest spelling variation I've seen for any word. It's still correct, but I hope the dictionary pokes fun at it.

Misspelled.

egh, that is an incredibly hard question. I think that my favporite songs can really change along, but right now, they would be... mmhh...

the seatblets - Tank
Led Zeppelin - Trampled underfoot
Pearl Jam - Black

I will give updates on this, as I really change my fave songs depending on what I listen

At the moment they are...

Foo Fighters - Everlong
Paul Weller - You do something to me
Coldplay - Clocks

Rap, Trance, Rock:

1. Tupac - Changes
2. Ian Van Dahl - Castles in the Sky
3. Garbage - As Heaven is Wide

SandStorm take note: ^^^^^^ this is what sarcasm looks like.

But seriously... in no particular order, evaluated on the goosebump factor:

Bytor and the Snow Dog - Rush
Manic Depression - Jimmi Hendrix
Bill and Ben - Catherine Wheel

Ask me tomorrow and I'll have three more, though.
