Tool is really the only band that has touched me deeper than, "It sounds good.".

Agreed...... Tool is my all time favorite band, here are some of my favorites:

Tool - Push it (live)
Tool - No Quarter (Led Zeppelin cover)
Tool - 11
Tool - Opiate

Yes, millencolin is my favorite band.
No, Millencolin the GTP member doesn't sing these songs...I think!:odd:

Yeah, I Higly Doubt The Member Millencolin Is Nikola Sarcevic

But Millencolin Does Kick Ass

Incredible thread revival!

But, seriously, better than starting a new one.

Myself:

1) What a Fool Believes - Doobie Brothers
2) Riders on the Storm - The Doors
3) Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five - Wings

Woot new music thread bump.

It depends on my mood, and I listen to way to much music to be able to narrow it down... But I'll give it a shot.

Corrosion of Conformity - Vote With A Bullet

Monster Magnet - Tractor

Hurt - Pandora

I list to all types of music. My all time favorite songs are Trance songs thought.

1) Rank 1 - Airwave (Original Mix)

2) BT - Flaming June (Original Mix)

3) Gouryella - Walhalla (DJ Tiesto Remix)

Only my top 3? But there are so many of them. :(

1. Hatsune Miku - Melt
2. Nightcore - Dam Dadi Do
3. Yoko Hikasa - No, Thank You

Um, yeah, that is somewhat the bases of what otakus listen too. The majority of the music that isn't just BGM from a video game is in languages I can't understand, mostly Japanese though. My main categories are Trance, Techno, Nightcore, and J-Pop.

I guess I wasn't around for this thread's prime, but here are mine:

1. Arcade Fire- Neighborhood 1 (Tunnels)

2. Red Hot Chili Peppers- Breaking the Girl

3. Radiohead- The Tourist

Spacegoat
Weezer - Say it Aint So.
Radiohead - Paranoid Android.
Foo Fighters - Everlong.

I only had to edit it a little, I think I found my random ambiguous internet soul-mate! (kidding) But you do have good taste! :)

I suppose this is two of three but these two songs together make for one epic song:

Lamb of God - The Passing
Lamb of God - In Your Words

So. Much. Win.

Excluding Dubstep and anything without vocals, my top 3 are :

Massive Attack - Teardrop
The Enemy - This Song
Basement Jaxx - Good Luck

1. Go your own way ~ Fleetwood Mac
2. Revolution ~ Tracy Chapman
3. Julie ~ Levellers

Probably think of an alternative later.:boggled:👍

1 - Spangle call Lilli Line - E:

I'll repost when othersongs ocupy my head.

I'm with you on that, mate. Shimmer is such an underrated song. 👍

If I get started, I'll start talking discographies.

So I'll leave it to one.

Iron Maiden - The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner

'Nuff said.

No idea how you guys are doing it...I can't even come close to rounding it down. Maybe I could do three favorite songs for a particular week, but all time? No chance.

Same, that's why I went with one I know won't ever be lost as a favorite.

1.) Porn Star DancingMy Darkest Days
2.)Rockstar-Nickelback
3.)Something In Your Mouth-Nickelback

I love Nickelback so don't be hatin! lol

This is like asking which 3 beaches in the world I'd like a free house on.. So not fair! I guess I'll try, but I won't duplicate artists.

Grey Street/Lie in Our Graves (depends on my mood) - Dave Matthews Band (if sent away to an island and had to choose one artist, it's DMB everytime! The beauty of the sax in his music makes me want to drop 2 grand on one to learn )

Colder Weather - Zac Brown Band (along with Gravedigger by DMB, only songs to ever make me cry)

Rock 'n Roll Band - Boston (almost at DMB status for me, can't name one Boston song I don't love. Saw them live, I just wish I would have done so before Brad Delp passed)

^ These three bands played the best concerts I've ever seen, and when they come up on shuffle, there's never a skipped song :).

Three songs?! That's nearly impossible. I can't even cover my different tastes in music with that

But, anyways, I guess I'd go with:
1) Powerman5000: Free
2) AC/DC: If You Want Blood (You've Got It)
3) Pink Floyd: Wish You Were Here

My three honourable mentions would go to:
1) Clint Mansell: Lux Aeterna
2) Manu Katché: Song for Her
3) Deadmau5: Sophie Needs a Ladder

Including the honourable, that almsot covers most music genres I'm enjoying, too

Oh you're really having to make me think hard with just three to choose. Let's have a look:

1: Feeder-Just a Day. Soundtrack to my favourite game of all time, how can I not love it :D
2: Guns 'n' Roses-Sweet Child 'O' Mine. Always puts me in a good mood.
3: Avenged Sevenfold-Buried Alive. Can't explain my ears just love it :D

Unless i find the song from the Vietnam special this is the one (Which i have a link to in my siggy, if you want to help me find it.):

1: Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird
2: The White Stripes - Seven nation Army
3: C418 - Droopy likes ricochet

3 favorite songs .... kind of tough to make a choice here, but I'll go with these.

Nazareth - Hair of the Dog

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond

Lynyrd Skynyrd - Simple Man

Has anyone mentioned future garage songs yet?

Anyways, my list:

1. boyChild-For You, My Love (Part II)
2. Asa-Ebony
3. Owsey-Places We Never Went Together.

Song 1: That piano melody is perfect to play/perform.

Song 2: Who ever though that the recorded sound of bottles/glass could be drums?

Song 3: "We need each other."

As for favourites #4 & 5,

4: CoMa-Wouldn't It Be Great, If It Were True?

5: Ghosts of Paraguay-Perfect Sky

5.2: Ghosts of Paraguay-Winter Stars ft. ID3.

Peculiar, then, that my Tuning Garage is ALSO called Wibter Stars... Or is it? :dopey:

Three.... Extremely difficult. I was a mix tape maker when you actually used TAPES and the word mix tape wasn't even invented yet. We are about a 8,000 songs in iTunes kind of family. Far from a record, but music has always been a big deal to me. Have to thank my parents for that. Playing great 60's and 70's tunes when I was growing up.

If I can only pick three, (we need a three favorite ALBUM thread!) I'm going with...

Polythene Pam/She Came In Through The Bathroom Window - The Beatles
6'1" - Liz Phair
How Many More Times - Led Zeppelin
