Three missing competitions?

It seems to me that the photoshop, Head2head, and artistic comps are all either delayed, or have dissapeared. I know it's possible that they could just be delayed, but c'mon, 3 delayed comps at the same time? If anyone knows what happened, preferably the people that run the competitions, please shed a little light on this strange subject, because I think these are three great photo competitions and I'm itching to try the next themes.
Hopefully they are just delayed though.

I'm sorry about the delay of the Photoshop Competition, but I've been busy/lazy lately. I'll try to put it up tonight or tomorrow.

Well that explains one comp, I'm a little less nervous now, but There's still two that I'm wondering about.

I suppose it can get quite difficult trying to run the comps and juggle life in general as well. These things happen occasionally. I know that for example sometimes I don't even have time to log on for weeks not to even mention playing GT4 or mucking around with PS.

I'm not going to put my hand up to run a comp cause I'd simply be too unreliable with my work comitments coming first and what not, but a suggestion might be to have a back up person for each comp and that way if the person who normally runs it is away or busy, the backup can step in and post the poll or whatever.

I think the artistic and rally comps were supposed to be delayed for two weeks, but two weeks have passed now I believe... though I completly understand anyone having it difficult to find time to run these things...

Thats a pretty good idea, but the backup would have to get the PM as well to post the comp or poll. Anyway, I was pretty sure it was just a delay, but it kind of scared me that there were three delays at the same time.

The Drift Photos and Drift Photoshop competitions are also delayed, so you can add those too. I know they're getting either moved or re-fixed, so that sheds some light on it. My guess is that since one was delayed the organiser of the other one felt like delaying and so forth.

I'd say that as soon as one gets sorted out, again, the chain will follow and they'll all start again.

One reason for the stoppage might of been lack of themes. Let's face it, the one that's been running the shortest (except for the drift photoshop and artistic comps) has been for about 8 months. And inevitably the themes get harder and the people list smaller.

So maybe we could all help in that list Vonie put up for further themes for the competitions.
