I purchased the Thrustmaster F430 steering wheel as a christmas present for myself with the intention to build a sit down arcade cabinet around it.
I'm a pc gamer and also a mame cabinet builder.
I only got about 5 good hour long sessions since purchasing the wheel.
I was playing GRID when something popped while racing. The motors whirl away, but no feedback. Its as if a gear popped off.
The good news I guess is that is broke this early and I can take it back.
Any other opinions about this wheel. Should I just echange it for the same model, or invest in an upgrade. I can't really afford the Logitech wheel at this time.
The embarrassing thing is that I invited some friends for gaming and to show off the wheel when broke on the first race. Egg on my face.
