Mirror Gaming review:
Interesting he is feeling the extra NM overboost in the wheel while others cannot.

The reviews of the Hypercar Wheel which is alot heavier than the stock say the FFB feels much better through it than the stock rim.Anyone tried T598 with Evo 32R wheel? There is a sale going on and I'm wondering whether it's worth it. I'm afraid 2cm extra in dimension and more than 400g in weight would dampen the feedback too much on 5Nm base.
Great news! Waiting for someones impressions about FFB after official support. Now T598 is officially supported by GT7 <3
Great news, Any differences? Now T598 is officially supported by GT7 <3
Great news, Any differences?
Yesterday I was doing time trial on Sardegna with BMW McLaren GTR for around 1h. Just repeated it - I feel no difference. Of course, there might be some, it's just a feeling, not a measurement. Ability to map buttons is a good thing though.Great news, Any differences?
Dam that is not good news as i was planning getting the Hypercar wheel when i can purchase the base on its own.Yesterday I was doing time trial on Sardegna with BMW McLaren GTR for around 1h. Also Evo 32R rim just came and to be honest, I'm not sure if I'll keep it. It feels great, quality is there for sure, but FFB is (as I was afraid) noticably dampened compared to standard rim. I'm not sure if it's 2cm difference in diameter, probably more the extra 0,5kg. I just did some trials comparing both rims and times were almost the same, but even when I increased FFB for Evo, it felt lighter. I think it's better suited for more than 5Nm wheelbases.
Not sure about the weight, the 488 gt3 wheel is noticeably heavier than the standard (and way too low cost for my liking) wheel, and it still works great with the T598 and GT7.Yesterday I was doing time trial on Sardegna with BMW McLaren GTR for around 1h. No, you must stay on the PLAYSTATION 1 Mode (BLUE).Fantastic news !!!
Red mode to be used then ?
I recently got a t598 but I run off a MacBook. I'm using the Parallels Desktop app to simulate having Windows 11 and everything works EXCEPT when I go to update the software I go through the process of putting it into boot mode, until after it is in boot mode the "My Thrustmaster Panel" no longer recognizes it and I'm stuck. Please help however you can, anyone, I have no idea where to go from here.Did you update the firmware to 2.07 or newer? You’ll thank me once you do. Lots more settings unlocked from the stock build.
This was my comment on Reddit when I was updatong mine on Windows 10, not sure if this works on Macbook or not.I recently got a t598 but I run off a MacBook. I've done some calculations (considering force at edge of the wheel and moment of inertia) how adding weight (I assumed it's a solid disk) and diameter to the wheel would affect the force needed to be applied on the edge of rim. Conclusions are that for those wheels the base should have following torque value to feel the same as standard 30cm 800g rim:Dam that is not good news as i was planning getting the Hypercar wheel when i can purchase the base on its own.
