Was able to run a lap within 31 thousandths of the current daily race A WR with my new T598👍

I used these in-game and wheel settings. And weak ABS seems to be the best setting for feeling.

Last setting is cut off, but it's End Stop- Mid

Sooo much easier to be consistent, easier to catch slides, more enjoyable to use. No dips or changes in feedback strength/feeling during a session. And most importantly, I'm faster with it when comparing to my TGT pace.
Haha, told you so ;) The T598 is really great, and yeah consistency is better with it. I really need the future load cell brak pedal though !

Potentially the first World Record in GT7 driven with T598👌

That is an amazing lap as always from you.

Are you using the same settings as you shared a few posts back? https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...-drive-discussion-thread.428553/post-14437330

I used all of these settings in a road car race the other day, but each road car I tried seemed to understeer with the slightest of turns on the wheel.

I tried changing my base settings to 1060 rotation to give me a bit more play, but still seemed to hit understeer unusually quick 🤷🏻‍♂️

Pretty sure I used different in-game settings to the settings I posted earlier. Same wheel base settings, but I used -2 controller sensitivity and 5 torque, 3 sensitivity for the feedback.

Although I just tried using 10/10 in the current daily race A at Eiger nordwand, seems the fastest setting. And controller vibration function setting to 105. Try those mix of settings sir, and tell me what you think.

Thank you.

I tried 10/10 too and found a really good connection with the car but very high vibration on understeer, I think when I finished messing around I left it at...
Controller Sensitivity: 10
FFB Torque: 7
FFB Sensitivity: 5

But that was for drifting, I didn't mess with them whilst racing.

I also didn't change the vibration setting at all.

Will give your settings a try on the weekend and let you know how it feels to me 👍🏻

Just a reminder (for all Steering Wheels in GT7):

- CONTROLLER STEERING SENSITIVITY Slider: affect only the gamepad controller (don't change anything on Steering wheels)

- VIBRATION STRENGTH Slider: affect only the gamepad controller and steering wheels with an haptic feedback = the TrueForce Effects of Logitech wheels and the T-DFB effects of the Thrustmaster T-GT Wheel).

I always set the controller sensitivity to 10 whenever I go on the wheel, it's just habit.

I'm always adjusting it on controller though.

I'm sure that vibration makes a difference in the T598 though as everyone is saying to adjust it on this wheel.

Thrustmaster are bursting my balls, Still no Base only in the UK/Europe and still no bundles. At this point it kinda seems it will be America only that gets the bundles. I really dont want the pedals and rim that comes with the T598. :banghead:

I just want a clutch pedal, without having to buy a 3 pedal set when I already have the 2 pedals 🙄

What did you think of the brake pedal that comes in the t598 bundle? Is it easy to trailbrake?
Since the pedal with load cell hasn't come out yet, I'm a little worried about the brake pedal.

Honestly speaking, and this may sound strange for a spring loaded pedal, it actually feels like my car IRL, so braking feels extremely natural to me with it.

Not sure how anyone else feels but that's just my opinion and also the exact reason that I only want a clutch pedal and not really interested in getting a load cell.

Hey all... currently have t300rs with upgraded rim (Ferrari 599), playseat evo cockpit. I'm looking to take next step and upgrade. Was thinking maybe just the base 598, only concern is if it will mount to my rig, seen mixed reviews.
As for pedals, no clue. I purchased the t-lcm pedals last year, but had to return as I can't really reach the brake pedal. The playseat rig has a post that blocks my leg, so just looking for a 2 pedal setup. I need the brake to be where the clutch is on the t-lcm.
I like the price point of the 598, but willing to invest more.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a spring mod on my t3pa that works well. I've never had a load cell brake, but I'm thinking about getting one in the future.

Could you not calibrate the clutch pedal as a brake? I'm in similar position, I have t300 with the t3pa pedals and thinking of getting just the base.

Huh, I didn't know that you could switch the pedal function. If so I could definitely go that route for the pedals.
My other concern ive seen in reviews is the base does not mount well to some rigs.

This guy reckons WRC Generations have some extremely good FFB going on with this wheel, Not happening in any other game or with other wheels. Anyone else played with WRC Generations?

If what he is saying is correct it could bode very well for future games.
