Suzuka GP Two car Battle.
Jaguar F-Type Gr3 vs Mercedes sls AMG Gr3
Both cars are stock settings on racing hard tyres, room set with BoP
A feature race 11 laps + Pit stop
Sprint races of 6 laps
Tire wear 15x and fuel usage 6x
One or two races may have the Moto-bike chicane in there some where, the rules for this you know already, top 4 use the chicane, first lap and last lap we all miss it out.
If you can come with both cars as you can change cars if you wish.
Good morning, I'd like to have fun on Thrusday night too, any spot available? I race clean, but not necessarily very fast. I'm generally a low C/High D (always S for safety)

Your more than welcome to join us, we start at around 19:00 hrs till room close, everyone is free to come and go as they wish. We try to put on a more selection of oddball events, emphasis on fun.
We tend not to text much in the lobby as most have mics, so don't think your being ignored if nobody writes much.

Thats ok Kano the room last week closed at 11.45 pm you just jump in any time. We have lots of different races on the night, test new ideas, upcoming combo's generally just a relaxed evening.
Yes there is the odd cock up some night with 700bhp and full boost/draft on a car you have to book an appointment to stop, if you master that you're a better man than me Gunga din "Rudyard Kipling"

night some weeks we have combos that you would never think of using, full draft in the 732bhp nova no brakes and SS ties had to end in FFS.If it's in your garage you've got to use it.
I think next week will have to be more sedate, not good for my health these mad nights.

Unless we have any objections we'll run this one on Thursday - Please holler if you don't want to run this for whatever reason.
Recreate the Ford vs Ferrari battle at Le mans but with a twist. We're going to run cat and mouse
Mouse = Ferrari Dino 245 GT '71 with settings 114% power, 88% weight. Sports Soft, Standard Gearbox, No tuning
Cat = Ford GT40 Mk1 '66 with setting: 70% power, 100% weight, Sports Soft, Standard Gearbox, No Tuning
The car setting should give approx 10 seconds delta between the cars on a single lap.
So we'll run some 2 lap sprint races (at least 2 so we all get a chance to drive each car)
- Split the lobby between Ferrari and Ford
- Ferrari's go at the lights, Ford's wait for 20 seconds then go
- The first across the line wins regardless of car type
Those in Ferrari's now switch cars to the GT40 for the next race....and so on
We'll also run a 5 lap feature race with all GT40's at the same spec as above but boost will be on, no tyre wear, no fuel and full damage will be on.
I know this is a fun night but lets try obey some racing etiquette and not turn this into a demolition derby like the last time we tried boost, with full damage you will wreck your race and whoever you hit! With boost you don't have to go for every opportunity and with long straights an overtake can be done easily and safely. The GT40 at the spec I have proposed above is super stable and easy to drive so if we respect each others space we should have some super close and fun racing. I'm sure @dranddad will let us run more than once if you like it enough.
Anyway, SHOUT if this week is not OK for this
