Hey Tidgney.
So, after a while of inactivity playing GT, I decided that I would get back on and make myself a GTP account, so this means I can take part in the WRS. Your video's have been so helpful so far, I've only got a few left of the Road to GT Academy series until I've caught up.
Since I've started over on GT5, I thought it would be the perfect time to put some of those tips into action. I was doing the licenses earlier and I remembered that I always had trouble with National A/8 (Tackling the Schumacher S). I'd managed Gold in the past, but it would always take a few attempts before reaching Gold. The magic time is 13:800.
After about 15-20 attempts I was putting in consistent times, always missing out by less than a tenth of a second, my closest attempt being a 13:806. I know, right? So close. But I remembered that you said, the more you can place the car to point out of the corner - which gives you better exit speed, the faster you can go. I put this into practise and on my first attempt I shaved off over half a tenth. Time - 13:745
Thanks again, mate. I'm finding improvements literally everywhere!
