Screens don't break in, they're not mechanical parts.
Tell that to the people who had yellow hues that disappeared after approximately a week a usage. Though, i'm sure it was drying glue.*

*note: I never thought that "breaking screens in" was a real thing.

Well after looking around and comparing specs, decided on these 4 options in the poll.

The Z1 and M7 will require a stretch in budget so they still aren't a dead cert as an option, the Nexus and G2 are almost the same price, multiple poll choices are optional if you want.

I voted nexus as you get the latest android for it.

I have also rooted mine to add more fun to it

All are upgradable to Kitkat I think. The G2 and H7 certainly.

You have to wait for google to release the latest android, then HTC, Samsung, LG, ect get it and modify it and add bloatware on it, then they release it, if your phone is post paid they get it and "test" it to make sure it works on the network as well as add more bloatware since the phone as the post paid company boot loader it has to get the post paid companies image.

With the nexus you get it as soon as it is released.

I would say Nexus 6, I know it is not on poll but hopefully they put it at similar price to the Nexus 5 and even though it looks like it will be still on old process node and old CPU architecture, at least it has a new GPU architecture that should help phone perform at high resolution compared to some other Android phones on market, looks like it will be announced middle of this month.

I voted for the Z1, but have you played around with all of the phones? You might like one of the manufacturer skins over another. The device size is important too, I personally find the Z1 and M7 too big to hold (Sony's skin is my favourite, though), but the G2 and N5 comfortable to use.

I see, will take that into consideration.

Doubt it will be with in budget though.

I see your point but I'm a specs and performance first user, don't mind the looks and skin that much, I'm sure I'll get used to whatever.

The G2's issue I'm hearing about is that It doesn't take a big fall to ruin the screen.

If you're going for the specs then, the One M7 has the oldest processor out of the other options, so I would cross that off the list (Snapdragon 600, all the others have the 800). It's still plenty fast, though.

If Nexus 5 is in budget then I think if the next Nexus is priced the same then should also be in your budget ;). I do find it strange though that it looks like Google's first phone with Android L or whatever it might be called will not take advantage of the 64 bit support. If they don't price it competitive then I doubt it will sell much.

The other options certainly look more attractive, Camera aside what other points would you recommend the Z1 for? didn't give it a proper look like I did with the others but considering it now.

Do you have a release date for it Saidur?

Only going by rumours but it looks like it might be announced / released mid October or maybe end of October a bit like the Nexus 5. By the looks of things Nexus 5 production stopped last month too so should be its successor. At least if you buy the Nexus 6, you will get something that is similar to current flagship Android phones in terms of performance although it will be sort of outdated when it comes out regarding chipset but better than buying something older than that for similar price.

The Z1 has a dedicated camera button, expandable storage up to 64GB (it only has 16GB internal storage though), waterproof, dustproof and is more 'premium' in build. The G2 has an IR Blaster, either 16/32GB internal storage (but no Micro SD card slot) has the power and volume buttons on the rear (could take a bit of getting used to) is easier to hold in the hand and costs less than the Z1. If you don't mind spending a bit more money, I'd say to go for the Z1.

Yeah I think it's now between the G2 and Z1 (G2 looks a better deal than the Nexus 5 at roughly the same price) if I can stretch the budget I'll probably get the Z1, will try to look for a 32 GB LG G2 too, since maybe the 16 GB will cause issues after a year or two of use.

I ordered it  , it usually sells for atleast 5000 pounds here without warranty, I got it for 4000 with warranty (only 300 pounds more than a G2.
Out of interest, you know Expansys, it shows as phone being only EGP3,459.990 : Link
Is there any other additional cost on top of that price?

I have no idea, never heard of that site before, but souq.com are very reliable plus I got a one year warranty (no additional costs), they still haven't confirmed the order, if the run out of stock I'll check this one out.
