Time penalty changes

it used to be possible to continue to drive and absorb the time penalty as you continue the race.
In the latest update it looks like that is changing ?

“ If a driver continues to drive without complying with a certain amount of Time Penalty, additional time penalties will be added.”

So I read this as the time penalty need to be served immediately ?

Just did some testing of the penalty system in an open lobby (sport mode may be different but i'm not willing to sacrifice rating).

I found three main things:
1. The penalty will not increase until 20 after the penalty appears on your screen, not from when you actually cut/make contact (at 6:00 in the video)
2. The penalty will not increase if it's less than 5 seconds (at 8:00 in the video)
3. when it does increase it will increase by 1 second every 2 seconds

I am with Tom on this one, I am in Arizona and I stayed up all night for the download at 9pm to 11pm AZ time, and then I was ready, gatoraide in hand. I think the penalty system is better, I like that you can bump someone and it does not kill you. I did a sport daily and got together with one guy a little, innocent enough, fun race, but I ended up on the bad end on that one (wheel off and spin) and could not catch back up. I got 10th out of 11, I did not qualify and started 9th.

On the penalty, I think it really depends on the track. If there is a lot of braking corners, just keep going, if not, take your lumps or it gets worse. I like it.
