I had everything on this car as Mopar instructed to test it and the danggone car had a spinning problem, after countless hours of testing so I decided to just take everything off except the drivetrain parts and it ran so much smoother! Of coarse it is a boat, so we knew it needed to keep the racing brakes. I think it handled well, now see what you think! The best 300Cash money can buy! I made a 8:41:298 on the ring

When I saw this bad boy, I asked,"wanna sell this on the spot?" The little green man said, "Sure you got a saucer for trade?" At this point I tried to figure what someone had put in my Monster, yet I couldn't figure it out so I said, "No I don't have one." Then he looks at me puzzled, And says, "drop me off in New Mexico and its yours!" I said, "sure." So long story short, it's mine!
Now I wanna share it with you! It is an Acura HSC, and I made a 7:42:888
on the ring. Now go on you may fly in it now!

Ummmm, out of sheer curiosity, do you intend to do anything to tune the cars, or are you just slapping parts on and running with it? This is getting a wee bit infuriating now.

Yes, patience buddy.:)

Was that your intention? Apologies if it appears that myself and other members are intruding, but we have strived to keep our little corner of these fora clean for the benefit of fellow members and guests. I'm not saying that you should leave this forum (as only a mod can say that). All I am suggesting is that you think a little bit before you go making new threads, okay?

Here's your answer:

If no one else cares what cars I post or if I miss some of my typing. Then why do you?

So if he 'misses some of his typing', why should we care? In other words, he's asking for an excuse to be lazy. Why bother to even try to post intelligently?:lol: Sorry, TOURNIQUETFAN, that's not the way it works around here.

As I've said several times now, you should try going to one of the dozens of other sites where they really don't care about this sort of stuff, or we'll keep picking up all your trash and mirroring it back!

This is a guide to help pick out a first car,or sell extras for cash. Think of it kinda like Motor Trend ,or Car And Driver. All 722 will be evaluated.

That's from yet another TOURNIQUETFAN thread that's already been locked! Trust me buddy, if you somehow managed to get a job at Motor Trend or Car & Driver being a journalist, you'd quickly be shown the door after just one article! Otherwise, all the editors would go on strike. :guilty:

Ahhhhh, brings back memories of the old gamefaqs days... But Parnelli, I think it is paramount amongst us veteran members to persist with attempting to point out the errors in TOURNIQUETFANs posts, if only to further highlight this point to the moderating staff on GTPlanet.
Think about it as win-win. Either he takes our advice, cleans up his act, and in time becomes a valued member, or we show the moderators in a polite way the reasons of our frustration at his posts.
The more he treats us with ignorance, the more likely he is to be on the receiving end of a banhammer. The more he learns from our advice, the more likely he can become a valued member.

Edit:
Hello parnelli.

This is what we mean TOURNIQUETFAN!!! You have to start listening to our advice, we are genuinely attempting to help! This is not MSN. This is not Facebook. This is not MySpace, nor Twitter, nor Omegle, nor Chatroulette, nor any of the "no rules of formaliy" sites on the web. Please, for the sake of your own future on GTPlanet, stop for a while, go through our criticisms, sit down, think it through, and learn what you can from our advice. Maybe GTPlanet isn't the board for you. Maybe it is, and you can learn to conform to our norms and conventions, both AUP related and non AUP related. Please man, just sit down, think before you type, remember, we are generally a patient bunch, but can grow frustrated as time goes on. From what I can see, many of the more respected members on this sub-forum are growing annoyed at your conduct. Do it for yourself, if not for us.

Back to the chatroom-style posting again...*sigh* Have you even bothered to check out www.gamefaqs.com yet? Have a look at their forums, start a garage there. Seriously.

There is a slight chance that he may have already. I won't post a link here, as I have no proof it is his, but ask Rotary Junkie if you want info on it. I think I need some rest now, this is not my idea of fun, but I would rather not have a board that is covered in, at least in my view, internet graffiti.

Okay we will make this a great garage.

Once again...who's "WE"? If you're the only one making these threads, why do you keep referring to "WE"? Why not say "I" or "me" or "my"?????

I'm actually not attempting any more... I just wanna see the guy move on.

As much as I love having a vibrant GT4 section with as many members as possible (and some of them aren't as adept as others with English, posting, etc) there really does come a time when lines must be drawn. And it's rather personal for me because my hard-earned tax dollars are going to pay for this nunckin while he spends most of his day making shoddy virtual garages, spewing half-baked ideas, while possibly ignoring his spawn. His kids probably sit all day receiving virtually no education while 'daddy' is playing again. It's sad.

senamic speaks the truth, as always. I'm usually just as diplomatic, but not on this occasion.

If this clown's account isn't banned, I'll complain to every tier of the gtplanet hierarchy, and if that fails, I give my word that I'll quit this place forever. This is ******** and has to stop.

"Patients" my friend. Please don't leave, I'd miss you greatly.

You can still change it in the setup at dirt tracks, it just has no effect until you go to a tarmac track.

I've had enough of patients. My partner's mum is a doctor, she (partner) worked in a surgery for ages, and our own child spent his first 2 weeks in intensive care.

I am declaring a severe lack of sympathy for patients.

MODS USE THE ****ING B&HAMMER.

Chill out man! It'll happen when it's meant to happen. Everybody just be patients!

Why do you list the driving aids settings? I thought these where for dirt tracks, where aids are disabled?

This is what happens to me everytime I go to sleep lately, I wake up to find this action has gone on in the tuning section. *sigh* Sorry guys, he must've broken free from the leash I'd put him on last week. I might need to tie him up to the clothes line outside next time with a proper dog chain. Just kidding. :D

T-Fan, while I'm here for you dude and the layout looks better in most areas (I'll fix the little tidbits for you if needed), you should've just edited your original garage, not created a 3rd (or in this case a 4th) garage. I only have one garage, MFT has one, RRV has one, AMMT has.....wait for it.......ONE!! Please cut it out dude with the garage creations.

I'll talk seperately about this "other stuff" that's going on around you in PM's to those people to try and deal with it because you have got some members really pissed off with you at the moment......not a good place to be, believe me I've been in a lot worse. 👎

AMMT has.....wait for it.......ONE!!

Hey hey Mafs, don't talk so soon, I closed long ago, if I went back in business, I might make... Wait for it... My third thread in the tuning forum! (The first two being AMMT, and my second being my car setup sheets thread, which for the record was intended to help new players like TOURNIQUETFAN)

On this topic, TOURNIQUETFAN: This will be my 640th post to date on GTPlanet. In that time I have been responsible for 13 total threads. You can still be a member of the community, without having to make another thread every ten minutes. I mean, I am hardly known on most sections of GTP, but I believe that in the GT4 and maybe F1 sections the guys at least remember my name (do you, guys???). You can become a valued member of the community in time, but you won't acheive it by making a challenge to Famine's postcount and threadcount in your first few months.

But look how far apart they are, quite a few months....and they were done in completely different ways. One was a pure garage, and the other was more of a comparison test of the cars that you had tuned and listing the parts you used vs their stock counterparts.

As to answer some questions, no I did not post anything anywhere but here.
However I did look at a few others and could not read them. Secondly I do take care of my children, because I trust no one else with them, around where I live. Everyone that my old lady and I trust is a nurse, a head chef, a college student and my mother. She stays 50 mins. away so there are your answers.

I beg to differ on that one.....I saw some of your posts at a different site. The only difference was your name wasn't TOURNIQUETFAN.

However I did look at a few others and could not read them.

Interesting....So you know how we feel when we try to wade thru some of the rubbish you've posted???

Is it a lack of education at interpreting all the "big" words at those other sites?

Wait, so you're claiming you've got an 'old lady' involved as well? And you get to sit at home all day playing Gran Turismo while she works??? Or do both of you not work??? Either way, I'm actually jealous! :embarrassed:

I still say your kids are getting the raw deal somehow. Although I don't have any of my own, I've certainly raised a couple> You CAN'T sit around playing all day while you have kids...that's their job! Hence my accusation of negligence.

What the hell are R5s doing on a rally car? I've seen some rubbish posted in my time here at gtp, but you are by far the worst, in every possible way, poster I've come across. I'll paraphrase part of a PM I sent shortly after you arrived on our shores, for the benefit of those who have been here longer than 15 minutes:
Reading TOURNIQUET FAN's posts is like reading the prose of the child of NURBURGRINGKING and [another member] while injecting LSD into your eyeball.

But the point remains, R5's are USELESS on a dirt road as when you try to race there or even free run on there, it will come up with a little pop-up saying that DIRT tyres are required for this circuit. ;)

And Famine has already pointed out to you that ANY aids are useless on dirt tracks as the game automatically disables the ASM & TCS for those events, so having TCS on the truck is pointless, not to mention you HAVE NOT given any suspension tuning settings for your F-150. Pretty pointless to fit the FC suspension (it's called fully customisable suspension, NOT RACING!!) and leave it at default.
