-On the secondary account debate:

Hi Doodle!

One can only have great respect for the sheer time you submit to this forum. On top of that, your maturity -for a 16yo- oughta´ serve as an example these days...

But your strong opinion against secondary accounts seems to be limited to a concern for times in the alien-department. If i remember correct, on a recent TT, you put a secondary time within the official leaderboard.

I´m a DS3player like you -but i also got my birthdaypresent only two days ago -a 1963car!(:sly:) -so my aim is only to make the leaderboard. But i´m quite as commited as the next guy. Shouldn´t i expect fair play too? (i.e. have an optimized possibility to see my actual ranking?)

And what about people in here, cheering they made top 1000? -5000?

The righteous place for a secondary time, would be just within the gold limit then: get the gold, the prices, Exp. and max money. Or is there some further aim, i don´t know of?:dopey:.....:)

Well said I could not agree more I've be puting the laps in on Monaco and currently sit at 135th on the board also using the ds3 with a 1:12:254 witch I set a few days ago at the time it put me in to around 85th but with all these double treble accounts popping up be they cheaters or not are pushing us clean honest gamers down the board I could quite easily cut a half second off my time if I decided to launch my car across the chicane out the tunnel but then I'm just cheating myself seems this has all gone way to far because one person is so much faster and others ain't happy about it
I've been using the honest guys ghosts like banditkarter and ghost driver to use their lines to get quicker but what's the point if I go set a valid honest time for a guy who don't wanna put in the work and uses a hacked car
I also set a quick 1:34:7 on montige and that was good enough for a top 500 but because if the hackers and one guy trying to make a point I'm way out side that now

RANT OVER

Integrity will serve you well in life. Hard work has a tendency to pay off eventually. Keep it up. The cheaters will always be searching.

I think you're over-exaggerating a little bit, there's only a handful of people using hacked cars in the FGT time trial, so the whole reason you've been dropping is because people having genuinely been beating you. As for going over the curb at the chicane, there's nothing wrong with it, it's the same rules for everyone and is by no means easy to do, I mean even Immortal is losing about 0.1 seconds through it :)
As for using other accounts, there's really no point to it I agree, but so far I haven't seen any.

Yes there are only a handful of people using the hacked cars in fgt but also people using double even treble accounts
I respect your opinion and you are right you are allowed to cut the chicane but in my opinion the car shouldn't be launched over the kerb with all wheels off the track maybe that's just me wanting to be a honest racer

I'm cutting that chicane like butter and still struggling to just get low 1:13's. I don't know if its the new wheel, how unfamiliar I am with the car or just that I never race Monaco. But I think your all cheating Haha. I'm going to give it some serious effort today. I hope to get in the high 1:10's atleast by the time its over, but it feels almost impossible.

I just copied your settings, only difference being, my car weighs 10kg less and has 5 more hp....

Thanks for the heads up, went and bought a new car and and it has better power and weight. Not sure what's going on there. Picked up two tenths.

As for the Motegi leader board, I guess it is what it is. Rankings aren't all that important, I look at how far back I am from the leaders, as that is constant. P 1 is usually going to be 99.x% of what a perfect lap is going to be. If you don't know who the current leader is it is, eclipsi. And the other names at the top are extremely quick, sans the ones with SH tires.

What is important is how you are progressing, are you usually 1 or 2 seconds off P1? Are you tenths off? How long does it take you to get up to speed? Are you getting faster? You you like the track/car combo or does it not suit your driving style?

All of course just IMO FWIW.

If we watch ImmortalPilot video posted pages earlier, his FGT jumped over the curb and essentially disregard there's a chicane there. His FGT right side wheels went over curb and left side barely made it ( stays valid ). Sure he didn't red flag the lap, but now it's just a matter who can cut the quickest without getting red lap. The winner is decided by the little time gained from such curbing skills.

Now the 2nd rank FGT TT getting really close at 1:09.676, 0.104 second slower. If the times drop any lower, who can guarantee the times stays legit ? Or is it possible to have very low 1:09.xxx with legit car and no chicane short cutting ?

It's impossible to red flag your lap by cutting over the kerb, so basically PD have made the track boundaries the wall, as for how fast can the car go, 1:09.3/4 max IMO.

Well your tune took 0.030 out of my time lol.

Overall I'm usually around 1second off number 1, this TT I can be much closer, in my lap I can see another 2-3 tenths and that'll be my limit, but unlike the fastest guys I don't drift, I hate drifting to get a fast time, I've drifted accident and found myself about 2 tenths up on my ghost, if I did drifting then I'm sure I could be within half a second to number 1 on this TT, but that ain't gonna happen haha.

It don't take long to learn the tracks and cars really, I'll only spend up to half an hour, maybe twice a week on each TT, nothing hardcore, I don't have much free time as it is anyway.

I don't think tapping the walls or abusing track boundaries constitutes cheating. Since the chicanes boundaries were well established since this event and in real life F1 drivers know there going fast when they graze the walls.

I almost threw my DS3 through the window, but I managed to improve my time in the FGT to a 1:15.722
So while I'm still quite a bit slower than the fastest guy I do pride myself in the fact that I didn't cut the chicane completely :P

I very rarely use multiple accounts on the TTs. I remember on the 550PP Madrid TT in January I used 2 accounts, my main one in 57th and my TC account in 7th. Back then, I just joined the team and I wanted to represent them for that combo, but I already had the main account on the leaderboard so I just had to put the 2nd one. I haven't done it since, other than to just get gold on the main one.

well after months of hard work i had finally broken into the top 500 in a TT, and now a good number of people in the top 250 are cheating... i hope PD fixes this, top 6 times are a joke.

I think we all know you're one of the good guys, Doodle.

I would like to inform you guys about the people that are using hacked cars in the seasonal events.

The people that you see with "Sports Hard" tires are NOT using sports hard tires. Trust me they are not using them.

Say you are in a online room. After PD's half 🤬 update 2.12 (which enabled cheating basically), if you use any of the hidden tires, the other people will see whatever tires that come on the car when you buy it.

So they might be using Comfort Soft Type V or Comfort Soft Type C. Which those tires allow for a different type of grip (horizontal or in line grip). They are not using Sports Hard I do want to clarify that for you guys.

So they are cheating. So in your opinion the players whose car shows up with comfort soft and are suspected of cheating....is it possible?

No. What I am saying is that the people that say they are using "Sports Hard" tires, are in fact NOT using Sports Hard tires.

I don't see Comfort Soft Type V or Type C in the eligible tire selections for this event. Care to try again?

He is talking about the hacked tires. Of course you won't see them in the eligible tire selections because they are hacked. So, how about you try again.

Ok, I know they are not eligible on a list of tires that can be used. I was stating that the people's names that show them using "Sports Hard", ARE NOT using sports hard tires. They are most likely using Comfort Soft Type V or Type C. They cannot bypass the restrictions on the Comfort Class. So I was just informing you guys that because of PD's update you will not be able to see which tire they are actually using. But I assure you it is not anything above the Comfort Soft class tire.

Yep.
Thanks for reading my post.

I have also read of this. It exists. The exact benefit was unknown if even existent, at least the last time I read about it.

So like before the update / attempt at removing the hacked cars, where tyre types were shown, you cannot tell any more?

If someone is running Comfort Soft TypeV or C, it wont ever display it? Even in Lobby's?

Super Soft Race tires show up as RH in a lobby.
