A nice combo... I haven't run a seasonal TT for an age but its a chance to get the HSV out for another blast. 25th so far and the 2nd fastest HSV by 0.007 :P There's a another 2 or 3 tenths in there with the HSV and I reckon I'll be sticking with it and aiming for fastest in class. :) Hey Andrew... :sly:

Well, i did 4 laps and got 1.47.551(currently 262) with DS3 and autogears. Im sure i can take 1 second off(mayybe even abit more), just need to do more laps, also i used my own tune, gonna find some other tunes and give it another go. Used Takata Dome ´03. Im having hard time exiting the cornes, even the fast ones, kinda slippery...hmm

Ah, Grand Valley, one of my favorite tracks. Looking forward to giving this one a shot but first, have to finish my run in the WRS TT at Rome. Plus, that will give me time to see what the go-to car will be for this one. I like to give it a few days anyway just to see how things are going to shake out. Good luck to everyone who is going for new goals.

@Vagabond: Nice to see you taking part in this Seasonal my friend. Good luck to you and hope you do well. I'll be rooting for you.

I ran the TT today in a car without any modifications done to the motor. Done a few laps got a base time in and placed in within the top 1000, which I figured. Refined the set a little picked up another 15 spots, made changes to the diff gained another 25 spots, on a good pace. Done one other changed, gained another five. So I thought to myself “What the heck, I’ll put a mid-range turbo to see what will happen. GT6 is due soon so I’ll give it go”. Done a few warm up laps to know when the power came in before I really pushed. At the tenth lap I started to push, got some very good sector times. Once done I looked at the times and how far I jump up the timing sheet, I was shocked really shocked. Adding the mid-range allowed me to move up one hundred fifty. A hundred and fifty just from the torque, that’s bloody wrong. I know it’s the norm to add all that stuff to the cars and use the power limiter to adjust the cars behavior and all though I just see the point anymore, haven’t in some time now for that matter, I hope GT6 doesn't have the same fashion.

Turbos aren't fashion accessories. It's common knowledge that adding performance parts such as turbos increases performance.

And it's a time trial, the amount of spots you jump is irrelevant - jumping 150 'spots' could easily be less than 1 second gained.

I share with you my settings, with TAKATA DOME NSX '03. My time: 1:44.432

Phase turbo 3.with Active Steering.

Its clear you must understood when I stated "In this fashion" And yes even a snail know by adding a turbo adds performance. As well you being unclear to the relevance and meaning of my comments.

You guys are smokin' !

Haven't had time to get back to this torture since last night - but will be back some time later tonight - and I'll put up that NSX for sharing at that time - for anyone who doesn't have one and would like to use it anyway.

There are many other cars that are possibilities, too, and we should explore these more.

Zuel - - you are right about the lack of translation; that phrase sounds way too undignified for such an honourable pursuit.

Down to a 1:44.296 for current P8. Lost two tenths in the first sector and another in sector two so a 1:43.8 is possible. 👍

1:44.261 now.

Just did a 10 minute shake down with the Honda Takata Dome. Ended up at 1'47.199 as a starting point. Will get serious about things tomorrow, just wanted to get a quick feel for things.

Wow, wish I would have found this place ages ago! You guys are blazin' fast!!

I clearly need some tuning advice to run with you guys, any advice would be appreciated!!

My first crack at a tune for this TT, might help someone. 1:45.4 or thereabouts...I think I'm in the 60's somewhere.

I may take another crack at it with some wacky settings like I did the last one:sly:

In the default settings, I was able to extract more time from Loctite Mugen 01 when compared to a Lamborghini Diablo. Ofcourse, after changing the settings, it might be another story.

Is the Supra the best car for this TT or another Mugen?

The only Supra that can compete with the NSXs is the premum YMS Supra, as it has lower torque than other Supras, maybe Woodone Supra might be competitive too. I am sticking with my old buddy Tom's Supra '97 :) It's a lot slower in terms of top speed with much more torque within PP limit, and highest downforce of all SuperGT and JGTC cars, but I like it's handling.

I got a high mileage Raybrig NSX, if anyone interested to tune it or try if it can compete with the usual flavor Takata Dome, I'll put it up on share on GTPCARSHARE.

I can barely pull a high 1:48 :banghead:

I was using the Calsonic R35 GTR, I might go at it in my favorite GT500 machine, the Xanavi Z.

My old banger Raybrig NSX ( bought on my main account since around release day - countless wins on Bspec grinding ) has been sent to my GTPCARSHARE account, and is currently on share, it has decent power and weight figure. The current base tune is good for 1:46s with no ABS and stick controller when I tested it. Hope it serves well.

I m interesting for a decent setup for Xanavi Z mate..its one of my favorite too

As my friend Wak-azoo said many of the best drivers are in this tt.....so there is no hope for a good place:lol::lol::lol::lol: ....i feel very lucky that i have many of them in my friendslist....as my mom said "the only hope to be better is ...your friends to be better than you":):)
Happy fun and good luck to all of you

Just sent you a friend request but you're too popular , if you can make room for one more , would be much appreciated.

Good grief, I'm miles off the pace, 1:48.343 over #700. And that's after doing 1/2 dozen laps using Pmjg's loaner.
Of course I always do better at lower PP races, those well below 600.
And, I must mention, I haven't had a race for a few days due to the girlfriend stopping here.
But I'm back on deck, back in the cockpit if you like, and hope to shrink my time somewhat over the coming days.

I don't know who to delete :( Maybe I'll delete one that has the least activity, there's one that last sign in was over 10 days ago :) You can send me FR now.

Had a good morning went from 1 .49.775 down to 1.47.740 in a weider, one of my favourite cars.
Feeling well pleased with that, will try different cars as time goes on.
Good luck eveyone.
Stewy. :) :gtplanet: rocks

Request sent

Added, the base tune has high BB 9/5, be sure to set it to your liking, the car is a bit handful ;) It has clear advantage over JGTC cars as SuperGT cars have 40/65 max downforce, fiddle with ballast, power limiter to achieve balance that suits your style  It has 561HP ( 100% power) 40/60 downforce for better high speed corner balance, decent weight and optimized gearing for a top speed just over 280kmh :D
