What are the implications of that "Rd1 Montreal"?
it just means that it's associated at that event, or will we have TTs also the other Rounds?
No idea. I don't do or follow any of the various Nations and Manufacturer type stuff, or anything other than TT for that matter. Presume it is somehow linked to one of those championships?
So, does this count as TT 86 for you or is it of the "Special TT" variety?
I've been thinking about that and will make it TT86; it is just easier for my admin and it is not very clearly a Special TT in the way the Olympics or movie tie-ins were.

Speaking of TT86, I'll channel Chief Brody and say "You're going to need a bigger widget".

It wasn't my best lap as I did some errors in the gear changings and braking points. So, what do you all think. I hate I wasted 64 total hours on this TT and still didn't even get into silver.
Don't beat yourself up too much, it takes some time to get used to Manual shifting. When you'll get there, you'll see that you only benefited from switching to MT.

It's like they are obsessed with things associated with Red Bull. Well I'm gonna get to work early, I want my 7th and 8th gold if I can reach it, :irked:

I'm more worried about the X2019 Competition one than the BMW TT, and that's the truth on it.

@Gomario JSP so, there will be several rounds of TT's because it said Round 1- Montreal in the picture.
It probably has to do with the F1 weekend at Austria this weekend just like how a TT at Barcelona coincided with the Spanish Grand Prix.

We can expect the next TT at Silverstone as next weekend we have the British Grand Prix.

3 regional rounds of the GT World Series (Montreal, Prague, Tokyo) before the World Final (I think it's in Abu Dhabi). The pros are racing in the Red Bull at Road Atlanta for the Nations Cup, so we get a corresponding event. Very likely to get similar bonus events in August and September for rounds 2 & 3.

We're cooking. Hard.

@crome cool PSN name, where did you get the inspiration from?
Cipater is a track by British electronic band Autechre from the nineties. They have very obscure track titles, makes for good user IDs that are rarely used ;) ... of course someone was faster on PSN so I had to add my birth year -> cipater78.
I switched to MT Sunday and I guess I did okay, what do you think?

Looking good. Keep at it and it'll become second nature very soon. Speaking from (pretty recent) experience :) ... one advice: watch a top player's replay and make note of the RPM when they shift up, before you hop in the car. Depending on the car you don't want to always rev up to the limiter, this AMG for example has a lot of torque, the fastest way to accelerate is to shift up around 6,500 RPM.

Well, it's time to visit my austrian friend @KAlex122 with my M3 :indiff:

The registration stands for: Bretagne - Zone Shön :sly:

I deeply apologize to forget to credit the people who create those awesomes liveries.

This combo will definitly tons of aliens from all galaxies, so I've decided to start earlier today. Good news, we already had a race on the short version of the RBR with the Titans ♥ So, I'm a bit familiar with this track. My M3 doen't look in a good condition but it's still fast enough to kick some b-u-t-t-s here and there.

In the previous TTs on the RBR (with the Aston Martin, the GT-R and the Mitsubishi), I wasn't fast enough to grab the yellow medal. But this time, I'm really motivated to make things different.

For now, the entrance of the gold mine is just over 1:00.500 but I guess it will go down in the next hours/days. No matter what will be the final WR, my personal objective is to score under the minute. And if I succeed, I promise to have my M3 repainted

After less than 44 kms, I'm already in yellow, but not safe.

Now, the point is to gain 0.4 (or more) in the next 12 days. Sounds few but it's a lot, as you have no margin for errors with the track limits.

ATTACKE !!! (like attack, but in German)

Here is my first ever lap for this BMW TT, the engine sounds funny and weird, it's like a beastly growl. I think this may be one where I can gold it really quick plus it is a short track, which is good news to my ears.

It's looks like the turn near the AlphaFashion banner I was hesitant on what gear to shift down to. I think my gear was a little bit too high at the latter half of the lap, I couldn't tell. What do you think?

I am in the rank 2,500's, or I was a little while ago. This is much easier than the Barcelona trial, I'm relieved. Lemme know what I could do to improve, thanks!

Oh, surpassed 500 million credits as you can see. You can also see my profile as proof too.

Went incognito to rent out an AMG with my other profile last night. The car was introduced to me as "Helga" of rather hefty German build, loud voice and chain smoker, hearing a deep whisper in my ear: "Gib's mir!"

So I did...

Holy cow, how did you manage to keep that car in a manji drift and under 2 minutes, and twice 😱

That is amazing talent right there.

Now onto the next... BMW time 😁

@Gogga @Gorefast @LSFDRX @ikon_313 lets see them replays 😎

Yep, RB car at RA is an exact same combo was already used. Guess we can't complain since it's an extra one rather than the only one for the next two weeks. So, I'll take it.

I saw Montreal at the top and started freaking out! You know, that split second before your brain can process the whole image. But, no dice unfortunately.

For the Austrian TT, managed to have a best of 1:00:840. Once I learn which kerbs are legal & which are off limits, I can hope to better my time.

Also gave a try at the Atlantic TT. Managed a honest time of 1:03:811. Even though the cars has downforce & grip due to RS tyres, this TT feels so numb & artificial. The BMW & Austria combo work fine & am sure all will love this TT to bits.

Decent start. Finding RA quite tricky on manual with the quick turns in succession so that's on auto, RBR is manual. RA isn't actually that complicated but that second right hander combined with turning left before, and manual gear changes, is killing my line every time. But I'll work on it!

Hopefully enough, but somehow I doubt it....

Not sure where to improve on this short track. Maybe there's a tenth or two I can loose, but sub 59 feels like off the table for me.

Thank you. Would've preferred to link all corners, but manji'ing all the way through resulted in 2:05ish lap times :/

Tried to drift the M3. BoP adding 200+ kg and Sport Hards make this a great combo for hot lapping but keeping the wheels spinning is quite difficult. Here's my attempt. Still needs more angle/wheelspin through the chicane.

The results for TT83 are over here.

I've also updated the opening post with the index of TTs and the second post with the community leader boards.

Interim Results for TT84 at Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Gr.3.
I've hidden some columns in the leaderboard to make it show up better; if you wish to see the hidden columns, open the attached Excel file. One reason for the wider board is the inclusion of car name, given this is a Gr. 3 event. I have also added a column to show ranking by car, so for example @jontikis was 45th overall at the time of the data scrape, but 14th fastest in the NSX GT500 out of 20,920 drivers with that car.
