But i had fear for Nordschleife RedBull X shenanigans...... so in a way.... i'm happy
I'm curious how the thing handels the curbs tho.....
Besides.... i kind of like the Bullring, has everything a track needs to have except for the tracklimits on the last corner
I'm ok with the Red Bull Ring, but I never really like this kind of spaceship car (and an EV to boot). I probably will just get a good enough gold time and be done with it.

I think I secured silver at red bull ring, TCS 2.

Hope my yaris time holds gold, cause I don't think I'm able to improve that, and 2 milions credits today for gold Le Mans (wasted on that ridicously expensive new legendary car...).

Dipped below 1:22 on RBR with the Mission X. I think it's my first top 100, though I'm sure it won't last. I followed the current top ghost and feel like there's plenty of time to find for the aliens. My lap was far from ideal, so it shouldn't be this close to the WR. I'd estimate a 1:20.3 WR for this one.

Horrible car btw, so little grip despite RS tyres. Any slight slide and it's game over, the car snaps like crazy.

Well, it was fun for a few laps but I'll probably never touch this car again. Nice to have an easier TT done now considering how hard the last two have been (are). There's a nice pattern with the foot work to be found here for those on a wheel. It really feels like you're cruising rather than racing.

Happy lapping folks!

Hi guys (and Greek)

Welcome back to RBR, once again...

The Mission X has a lot of (too much) power and torque, so you must be VERY careful when exiting corners. Otherwise, you'll visit the countryside and maybe also, all Austria.

After few "complicated" laps trying to understand how to drive this car, how and where to brake, I've finally scored a nice 1:22.960

S1: 19.415 - Not my best S1 (19.250) but enough to score in gold. The braking point at the end of this sector is crucial to start an excellent S2.
S2: 37:611 - I don't like the inner part of this circuit and definitely not with this Mission X.
S3: 25.934 - Pretty happy with this sub 0:26 here. Not much to gain on this one.

All these similar cars suffer from the same disease: insane power, crazy acceleration but very poor brakes. With this Mission X, you'll spend 30% of lap laps on brakes... Anticipation is really important.

I'm in gold territory and based on my best sectors, there are potentially 2/3 tenths but I'm not sure to come back in Austria to chase them. But who knows?

Happy lapping folks!!

True true.... but still happy there is no Redbull X...
But i think imma have fun with the new cars ( execpt de Mission X then ) , but i know i'm going to have fun with the other Porsche on the ring, so indeed prob. less timetrial time this week then.
Catalunya is done for me, i invalidated a 46.140 this morning, but was rather quickly done with it.

So Nordschleife cruising it's going to be this week , plus empty my bank account with all duplicates on the new ones, altho i'm not sure i'll duplicate the new Merc....:lol:

But.... this evening is still Nokia style Mission X :lol:

Don't count your chickens yet. The X2019/Nordschleife combination (or whatever they choose) would be a separate TT under the World Series banner if they 1) do it and 2) repeat what they did for the three rounds' linked TT events.

I can't say I am looking forward to try this new TT... and I have few hope that in the end I'll like it.
Yes, I think you'll like it at the end, as it's not so complicated to get a good score once you have the braking points.
Tidgney's guide should be very helpful (when available).
And I think I will just not try Rally-Cross, I really don't like that track and have more fun activities to do on GT7.
You're right, this one is really hard, almost violent.
You'd better stay away 👍

Genuinely amazed that I, who was using TCS2 exclusively any time I played this game until you’s told me to switch to 0, managed to keep this car on the track using with that TCS0 😂 At least some of the time 🥸

Hopefully I don’t need to improve this 1:22.280 to stay in Gold.

Pretty mad car this Porsche and I would have thought in 2025 Porsche would have developed slightly better brakes haha! Here's the guide for those interested!

Ah, saw your time before you posted, brilliant!

Watching now and see you had on TCS, maybe I should have had it on after all - wish I’d not started this until after your vid 😂

I did a few laps while waiting for coffee to brew. Took some laps to figure out this thing has no brakes (or at least not big enough for its speed). Started to dial down the breaking points and got this.

I was another .3 up when I pushed a corner too far and went off track and called it there for this session as I still need to work.

But gold should be very doable on this one.

Well I started my nokia session with the spaceship.....there is something I don't realy understand...... who designed the brakes? 🤣
It's like the Genesis VGT but without the brakes 🙈🤣

First meters without TCS.....that took me quite some time to complete a lap 🤣
I made more 180's than ever 🙈

Well.....this should hold

Tomorrow morning I'll try on the TV 🫣

It seems liek a recurring thing in GT7 that most of the Electric cars have bad braking abilities, maybe its the regen on them or the developers just designed them that way but in reality surely the brakes wud be super strong to slow down so much weight.

Also I noticed they dont tell you the Mission X' weight in the trial when you select it, is that an embargo by Porsche?

The Mission X is nothing but a concept-car.
According to Wikipedia (and Porsche website), the Mission X have a 1.1 power ratio.

The Mission X is nothing but a concept-car.
There's... so many levels of "concept car" though. I cover this every time someone moans about VGTs: they run the full gamut from literally a chunk of clay with a paintjob to a fully functioning, prototyped car with either no or very few detail changes required to be production-ready or road legal (depending on intent). So, as I usually point out, do VGTs.

In this case, the Mission X is a rolling model. It appears to be entirely complete aesthetically, but with no/few mechanical components - and no powertrain (or at least none that Porsche actually talked about). At the time it was suggested it could be dual-motor AWD, one-front/dual-rear AWD, or individual wheel motors, but not by Porsche. Porsche also never gave power/weight/performance except to say it was aimed to be 1PS (ugh) per 1kg.

If the car in the game is 1,600kg then, at 1,341PS (1,360hp, or basically 1,000kW [1MW, for Zeus's sakes]), they're not meeting that one known figure.

How many of you use any or all assists? I've been trying with all variables, no bronze in sight yet on Le Mans. I'm using the car supposedly the fastest and the easiest [?] since all the top times are set with the Nissan 92cp.
I used to use all the assists the first 5-6 months I initially started doing the TT's. It was around November 2022. Now I have them turned off and I normally have the TCS set at 0-1. It varies from time to time. Can't wait to try this Mission X car soon, wonder how it's gonna perform when I actually use it? I only use several variables for determining how my lap will turn out. And the Map/Radar are useful tools for knowing when and which direction to turn.

I'm tired of the Red Bull Ring, but I'll do this one anyway. You ain't kidding about the brakes! And constant spinning of tires upon acceleration. In a very rare instance of using aids, I put TC on 1 per @Tidgney's advice in his guide. It helped, because all I got before was half a lap before looping the car with it set at 0.
