Tbh, it's the same here. I don't find it as complex of a combo. Point car, go fast, repeat. I don't this in a way that takes from other drivers' struggles either. This car is very difficult, but something with this combo just seems so smooth and to fit my driving style.

I'll see you at 2.78% gold range next TT 😃

I can probably go a little bit faster but it is hard to consistently get the handbraking right in turn 3 and I can only play a little bit on wednesday. So this will probably be it.

Out of curiosity I looked up what the retail price is of a GR Yaris in The Netherlands and it turns out it is € 81.795. 🤣 https://www.toyota.nl/modellen

I added @Metalgear9493 a while back when I first got serious about time trialing. While his ghost is perpetually my go to, it's pretty soul killing to have an actual real live alien on there.

Well. I guess Dan and Mr sourly are perpetual at this point too...

Either way, this isn't the place to feel fast. Even if you are actually. It's literally the best in the world in here.

I’m now officially faster with TCS2. My old account is now quicker than the VR account with the Abroad account a close third. All were done in VR.

@crome I have you surrounded!

Edit. Side note. I really hate RBR in sport races and avoid it like the plague but I’m beginning to like it for TT. I tend to do well on short track TTs as long as it isn’t dirt 😂

Meanwhile L. Shooter has improved his time in Catalunya yet again. 😳 Another 5 hundredths and I am out of gold, even though I am clearly in the top 1,000. Pretty crazy stuff …

Excellent times, congratulations. I had a stint last night and did the reverse; moved from TC1 to TC0. It took a while to get used to being more precise with the right foot again, but I did improve a tiny bit (although clearly not enough :irked:).

It's turned out to be an unexpectedly addictive TT, but as usual, I'm just not skilled enough to put three sectors together. Looks like I might have to keep on trying!

I'm certainly finding this one addictive. That helps when you get good times. My 98th didn't last long, now down to 102nd this morning. Did the aliens just arrive from a interstellar vacation?

Well, to be fair, that's to be expected. The TT currently has just short of 100K participants. By the end next Thursday it will likely be more than 150K. So if you assume a similar distribution, your current time will likely end up around 150. I remember how I anxiously checked the results every few hours when I was hoping to receive my first (and so far only) alien badge. 🤣

Yeah, I'm not surprised. Guess it'll just motivate me more to chase down my 1:21.2 optimal. So where do you have to place to don the little green suit? 🚀
