OK, you win!

BTW, Amazing time. Well done.

On my new session I think I'll need some thumping synthwave/retrowave mix playing to propel this spaceship along quicker (Tangent Alert! Now I'm getting nostalgic for the WipeOut game series which I wish was updated with a modern VR version..)
Thank you. And sector three was a 25.395 , 0.2 off my best... But I'm probably at my limit now over a full lap.

What the h*ll ... I don't look one day and suddenly everybody is flying here 🤣🤣 is there someone in the top 100 that isn't GTplanet?? 🤣🤣
Well done! , epic time there mr stats 🙏

I'm beginning to think I have to go back, my place 85 ( was 34 at the time I believe ) isn't top 100 worthy anymore in the end I'm afraid 🤣🤣

TC 0 ?

Hi friends

Quick update after a busy and stressful two weeks; two time trials missed. Not sure what I missed out on but WHAT IS THIS PORSCHE!?? Didn’t fancy the Rallycross Yaris even though I have just bought a GR Yaris in real life! Mud/gravel/snow physics are not my thing on GT7 even with the recent improvements

Porsche at RBR.. well. Yeah. I tried a few fruitless combos until I settled with TC2. The car seems to respond really well to traction control so thanks to @Tidgney , @Mistah_MCA and anyone else that recommended it, I couldn’t even get to the start line with TC0 :D

It’s a good looking thing, cockpit view is nice and that’s it. Will be glad when it’s over!

Found another tenth and slowly inching my way towards the top 100 ... ;)

... but of course still only 5th on my friends board, currently sandwiched between @TheNormsk two accounts. This is some fierce competition folks!

After yesterday's session I thought I was approaching my ceiling, but after today I actually feel like I have a few more tenths in me. My PB was with a relatively weak 56.115 S2 split, and I have repeatedly been below 56 seconds so ... I guess I'll try again? It's an oddly addictive one. On paper there's not much to like about it, but I keep coming back.

I will say that my left knee hurts after a session in this thing because I spend more time on the load cell brake than on throttle. 🤣

I figured out where I gain and lose out to the top ghosts and how to mitigate it.

Though I’m not inclined to share any more incase it makes the rest of you faster 😀

Edit: I’ll post up a video later that may expose what I found.

Also, did my old account as well.

Morning folks,

As I couldn't resist trying the murderwapon at the Ring again and did another morning session....and what a frustrating one!
That Porsche just nasty! 🤣

First time the OPT were in the sub 20's but that was due to one single
hit on T1 out of the whole session 🤣 And never got close to that early on the hill grip 😡🤣

My old PB was already place 90 this morning but luckly I had a few better runs, so stole back some descent places again but I still wonder if this would hold top 100 🫣
Everybody is just to fast 🤣
But as tomorrow there is a new one this was my last efford, take it away guys 😁

Across the line in 1:21.250

@Dan_Tes congrats on the purchase of that little steroïd Yaris thing, you are building a nice collection, when does it see Ring tarmac for the first time? 🤣🤣

It's been a while. I just wanted to stop by and say that I did a thing today.

I think the last time I was top of my leaderboard was also back in the Yaris at Lake Louise.

Here's the replay ...

I wish I had time to be here more often, just wanted to say hello. I'm still alive, still trying for golds. A new position in my company and new home ownership has reduced my involvement here a considerable amount.

Love you guys, cheers!

Good to see you and mindblowing to see your lap time! Maybe you could ask for an endorsement contract with Toyota because of this vid?!? Have a good time and happy lapping! 🥳

No, just tested TC1 and you shouldn't use it. Nope. No way, forget about it.

REPEAT: DO NOT USE TC1 FOR THE LOVE OF GOD PLS NO!
Seriously impressive. I don't like you!

I found that parts of the track are faster on certain settings than others. I'm dynamically changing my TCS depending on which part of the track I am on. It lead to a .2s improvement for me.

Did not partake since Le Mans (on which I only did 20 laps), boycott catalunya and was hesitating trying the new one at RBR with the vacuum cleaner.

Did 10 laps there and still need to pinpoint half of the braking points, comfortably in silver and not too far from gold (although it will move).

This cars is exactly what I don't like to drive : heavy, laggy, no brakes, no engine or exhaust sound.

If I was less close to gold I would simply not ever touch it again.

But as I have hope to get gold... I'll try again.
