People want the easy way and not having to boot up the PS to search for an ingame replay imo, like i said before, if you are looking for tips and tricks and input on you laps you have to put in some work yourself by uploading your fastest ( only the fastest lap ) onto this thread, just configurate your share butten to double tap for screen recording.

In my case i edit everything in Sharefactory-studio, so go to showcase/my items and hit the option button on the Duelsense when selected my recorded replay and load my recorded replay into sharefactory, from here i can edit and directly export to my linked youtube acount.
( linking have to be done in another section of the PS5 ( users and acounts / linked services )

But saying "hey guys my replay is ingame check it out" ain't going to get you a lot of reply's ...just saying.
It's not like I linked him to that exact page in the PlayStation 5 manual yesterday.

Wait.

Had to flip it over on it's correct side.
I mean, you didn't have to, it's just a good idea not to operate sensitive equipment upside-down.

As I asked before, you did put the acrylic feet onto it though, right? Only they weren't fitted when you had it ass-skywards.

Early days. Sub 45 is on the table, but I'll string it together some other time. Really fun to push this one! Happy lapping team.

Normally I'm too lazy to get on the wheel for TTs - I don't do them regularly anyway - and right now the rig is Christmas present storage. Gold on the pad for the Gr4 event took two clean laps in the Huracan.

Until I went to the original PS5 (complicated reasons to do with sharing) to try on the GTPlanet editorial pool account... which took 15 laps to get within 0.2s of my two-lap time on the office console...

I can't easily rationalise the difference here. About the only difference is that the old console is now hooked to a 1080p60 display and the new one to the 4K panel that the old one used to use...

Maybe the console was upside down? 😅

There, it worked like a charm, :)
It finally worked and I was able to link my Youtube account to the ps5. So, now I won't have to use a mobile device for recording laps.

Hey Chris,

in the perhaps overly optimistic hope that you're actually going to apply some advice ;) ... the main problem I see is that you do not modulate brake and throttle input at all here, it's always 0% or 100%, never anything in-between. Most TTs and certainly this one benefit greatly from careful and partial application of inputs. Are you still using face buttons for braking and accelerating? If so: Stop. Doing. That. Learn to use your shiny new PS5 dual sense triggers with haptic feedback, and use them with restraint.

Believe me, I'm trying to do better. At least I earned a bronze on my very first lap, but there is still a lot of work ahead. I've been using the face buttons a majority of the time I've played within my 26 years of gaming. It all started with the ps1 back in 1998.

@LogSwapper Great time, you're probably using MT and different button options.

@Barareklam Amen to that GIF. I'd like to drift my way to learning all MT without the face buttons, X/square.

Good luck Jomar. I guess I'll focus on Goodwood today and keep watching your Youtube videos. I'll have to pay close attention to your driving lines, gears and braking points. I'll study other replays from my friends too, as reference guides. Enjoy your Nokia time today. I absolutely hate that final chicane, it's a huge lap-killer. You have to go slow and use caution while going through it.

No wonder you struggle :scared:

@tmtk May be able to get by with buttons (I still don't know how he does it), but you definitely need smoother inputs to be faster/more consistent!

Hey, how long did it take you to get the hang of MT and the different button layouts? The ps5 controller is much different from the ps4 one. I may end up having to use the motion sensor option just to get a feel of what it's like.

I need to jump in again with a little bit of offtopic, sorry guys :D

The new GT3 Endurance wheel arrived, so I decided to try and create some sort of an unboxing video for the first time, if you're interested you can check it out :)

@330_D I know you are waiting for details and impressions, all I have to say is - buy it! Quality is on a whole different level compared to ClubSport line, buttons, shifters, everything. The rim itself is amazing, 318mm, just as it should be, this material is grippy as hell, bare hands or gloves, no matter, it's literally perfect, I can't wait to have a proper session with it
