So I knew from the RBR Gr.3 event in the wet back in August (where I got my first alien badge) that I can be fast in these conditions, so I had hoped this would carry over to the new event. Btw back then this came as a big surprise because my previous association with wet tracks was the infamous S10 license test that had almost destroyed me 🤣

But yeah, things are looking good so far :)

There isn‘t much more time for me to find here I think, perhaps a tenth. But now I have to shift my focus back to Alsace where I am at risk of dropping out of top 100. Crazy days, I‘m telling ya …

Loaded the ghost of Tidgney & got only 1.337% from gold on the rainy Fuji. Since it was only a few hours since the TT launched it's safe to say it's the closest I ever will be gold in online TT.
Tried the same [Tidgney ghost] with the Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion '97 on Alsace but after 10 attempts still 0.06% from silver.
 
There are too many of us thinking Fuji is too easy, I suspect that gold time is going to seriously tumble.
It might not be easy doing it in the rain, but it shouldn't be as bad as that RedBull Junior challenge we had that also occurred in the rain. That was a haul, got a bronze in that one. I had a time in that one, won't ever forget it.

It would become easier/simpler for at least 50% of users if the bollards weren't present at the apex of most turns.

Things like this you just can't do on a first session, it makes everybody think they are realy bad...

For 30 minutes i could't hit a thing, was all over the place.....but noticed i had Inters fitted 🤣🤣
Last few laps felt a bit better but nowhere near you 🤣

🤣 Oh come on, we've all seen that play before: you say something like "there's no way for me to improve here", and then the next morning you pull another half second out of the bag. I know have to stay vigilant 🤣

First 10lap stint at Fuji. On full wet thx to Tigney 😅
Put a 1.50.6 on the board. Optimal is 1.49.8 so I've got room to improve a lot!
Best lap of 1.50.4 was invalid because of hitting the green bollard in the long left 2nd to last corner the lap before 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Right hander at the beginning of S3 is hard to nail consistent. Lot of time to lose or gain there...
2nd to last and last corner can cost you to.

Racing line on and running just next to it was a great help...

ABS weak, TC0, CSA off.

Imagine having your best time, without a single best sector time 🥲

Have been away couple of days from the forum and the game just to discover that:
1) my gold with the electric water boiler has blossomed by 0.03% :mad:
2) Mister Mistah is here, will take an additional page down to find my name in the leaderboard :eek:
3) we have a wet TT :nervous:

thoughts in freedom on the new TT, after 12 laps, without videoguide and following Tidge ghost: does it really feel wet? I barely notice it. It's maybe I'm too slow to properly challenge the friction between the tire and the road?!?
Haven't tryed wet, just interns by now. Default ABS suits me better than weak.
Does gain or loose time passes obligatorily by staying the in right rails to optimize brakeing and accelleration, or it's just as it's dry surface?

2 : Jup..... another one joins the board, if you top 100 these day, you should see yourself without scrolling 🤣 🤣
3 : Yes, looks wet, feels little wet on Inters...., fairly planted with Wets!, def. the way to go!
