Just wanted to say “thank you!!” for the help and advice on Fuji, especially about being more aggressive and hitting the throttle earlier. I tightened up the 1st turn (going a bit wide of the dry line at apex helps w/grip) and 2nd turn (braking deeper, turning to apex later & throttle earlier) along w/ good rotation on sector 3 & hit gold this morning with a 1:50.509✌️👍

Thanks dude. I'm off work for a bit so I've got time... Which normally I don't have enough of. Most weeks I get maybe 3-4 uninterrupted hours ever including my weekend Titans™ sessions. Lately I've got double so it helps figure things out. I like less grip. I struggled at Monza just to get a safe gold because grip. 😂🍻🍻

First 10 laps stint at Fuji with the WRX. Following @Tidgney's ghost. Which brake lights are not always visible, not very practical to learn braking points.

Not really pleased with the combo and my driving, but best lap is very close to gold already, and optimal is gold so it should be done in a few stints.

This one's taking a bit longer to come to me, but still a fun one. I definitely think I enjoy the TT's with cars that aren't super high power/grip.

Why bog basic Z4 and not the M version with proper tyres? It's a race track not your local back road.

I don't remember them ever making an M versionof the model of Z4 🤔

EDIT: Turns out there was a Z4 M Roadster in 2006 with the E46 engine 😯

This one looks like fun for me, need to get back to the Scooby first though.

The track is awful too

And giving us a convertible and then getting to drive it round top down on a dull day on a dull track

Mate you're a car guy, this should be ingrained on your brain 😉 . Yes between 2006 and 08 the made an M version with a proper engine. 👌

I'm actually considering buying one if I part with my current convertible.

Couldn't have picked a better location myself. The gearing is a bit odd but apart from that, the Z4 is a great car with a proper engine straight from the E46. I know it's not the big boy 3.2 found in the M3 but the M54/S54 family of engines are wonderful.

I want to play this TT so bad as I love Sardegna but tied up with F1's live testing in Bahrain (can't resist Hamilton in a Ferrari now).

Will only attempt this TT tomorrow but it should be fun. I'm just dreading the CS tyres.

Am I driving the same car as everyone else? I swear it goes from swinging its rear end out to plowing like a dump truck suddenly mid corner. I'm okay through the first half of the lap. But the final, tight right hander at the end of sector 2 and all of sector 3 is a struggle. Every once in a while I hit them well considering my optimal is half a second faster. Unfortunately, most of the time I find myself in the grass instead.

I’ve been having trouble with my brakes in that during the course of racing the calibration will drift off and I’ll end up dragging the brakes.

Found that with the BMW TT. I’ll chase @Metalgear9493 ghost (thanks man) and all of sudden I’ll be unable to keep up. Yep, brake is dragging and needs resetting. Try again. It might last 2 or 3 laps. This was getting stupid…

During this time I figured out the car good enough for gold. Guess this is an easy one considering I’m in the mid 2000s.
