New Time Trial:

Allthough i'm sure the aliens will make this an unbelievable hard challange, i prefer this to the comfort tyre nonsens from last week (which i boycotted although i like the Z4 - with proper tyres).

Won't even bother testing. Only way to make a worse combo for me would have been to add rain on top.

I love proper race cars with high downforce but honestly these are too fast for me... Will do this instead of the Z4. Anyway have some fun!

This will not be a gold for me.... I am good enough with F1-type, high downforce cars.
Will be quite the challenge....

Even though I love F1 & most of the tracks they race at, Suzuka isn't one of my favorites. This is a very technical track + handling a fast beast like this will take umpteen amounts of patience & hours. I'm not a fan of the traditional circuits as well. Would've loved any layout of St. Croix, Blue Moon Bay, Dragon Trail etc. over this track.

I'll stick to Sardegna because that track has so much feel & flow to it. The Z4 even though at times twitchy, is a pleasure to drive there.

Echo all these sentiments. High down force and me are not friends. I will still attempt it though.

Scooby TT, i couln't get myself to try again, ended out of the top 100 but totally fine with it,

Z4......., i guess i spent some more time on that one, i had to much possible PB laps invalidated at the very last apex of the lap that i got frustrated like crazy...., not my morning 😂

It seems I am the opposite to most on this board. I struggle with low grip road cars, but high downforce is my jam.

I have done 5 laps on the new TT for a 1:36.9xx I was sloppy at Degner 2, the hairpin, Spoon and Casio. Low 36, high 35 should be possible.

Trust the downforce and don’t brake too much. The SF car is a dream to drive.

I am actually curious how it would be after latest update. I remember, maybe a year ago we had similar TT, suzuka, maybe Formula car, or similar,very fast. You shared your feedback how car don't want to turn and I do remember I didn't had similar problems, with motion control it was just turning nicely and I fished that TT in front of you. So now after update, I think my observation after F3500 on Monza, it don't turn in on motion control but what I read, controller stick turn in nicely, on that TT.
I am out of country and can't try new Suzuka, but I am just curious how it is on controller vs motion control now after update. Maybe enough people share so we can get some image of how it is.

Here's the latest guide for you! Both pad and wheel! Bit later than expected as I tried to get a 34 for awhile and I had it in me so much but kept making silly mistakes!

My goal with the new one is anything sub-4.00%. Once that's accomplished I'm happy and it will just be about seeing how much I can whittle it down from there. I very much doubt I'll cross the 3.00% line. So far, my initial morning marathon controller run has me in a mediocre bronze. Generally I find high DF stuff much more difficult on the controller than the wheel...

I can't say how it drives on motion control but on sticks it drives how SF cars always have driven. Lots of grip, slow to turn in, lots of understeer.
