Urrrrrgh I see the Suzuka time moved yesterday, I am 0.05 short of gold dammit.

I really like Eiger as a track, but IMO it doesn't suit the understeer-ish nature of GT stock setups, which is a shame.

If you turned in to some of these corners and the front gripped and rear slid it would be epic to drive.

That is why I thought we might have had the 205 with that lift off oversteer and low power light weight. But alas

Didn't managed to get gold at Sardegna, but finished in top 20 000, which is something

I hope so that @Metalgear9493 finished first, I was cheering for him.


New combo, what to say, it could be more pleasant with tires better then CS.

A decent improvement came quick today.

Very happy with the downhill part, the long right hander and the fast S could have been better.

Yeah likewise Ed, the combo just suddenly seemed to click today. Well the first 2 sectors anyway. I worked out the exact line and gearing needed.

I can beat P1's lap but need to be fresher, lately in Melbourne it's been 30+ degrees practically every day for the last 2 weeks, takes its toll 🥵.

Wow, seeing how many Aliens are colonizing longitudes between 1:15.00 and 1:15.5 I bet it is going to be Burji Khalifa on @half_sourly 's Scorebard distribution graph there.
Haven't made my attempts yet, but looking at your times anything golden projects as my success zone.

I once boarded a flight in Toronto at minus 29 degrees and arrived at my mother's house in western sydney at 44 degrees. Quite the flip.

Good improvement at Suzuka, the lap after this i was heading to a 1.35.4xx but i lost it all at the last chicane

Doctors and wife have had me shut down for a little bit. She went out for a while, so being the obedient husband, I figured it would be a good chance to get some rig time. I passed on the bane of my existence, Suzuka, and figured I would try Eiger Nordwand.
Amazing what a little rest and less pain can do. Scheduled for another pain injection next week. So this is it for a while.
I went online to share, and it doesn't look nearly as nice after @Metalgear9493, @bliprunner, and @Ed_Night times.

A rare day off today for our wedding anniversary so had some time this morning while my wife had a lie in! Did some online racing at Bathurst - best of 3rd and worst of last… absolute carnage at times!

Decided to go to Eiger to relax into the new TT. Quite nice balance to the car, but yeah, hairpins 😬 - this lap turned out OK to start, might be another couple of tenths in it which I’ll try and hunt down tomorrow if I get the chance

Weak ABS. Doing the @Metalgear9493 thing of forcing more turn by setting SET on the DD Pro to 820. Played around with various numbers but that seems to be the sweet spot for me.

Every session a little more... Exact speed seems to be the way. Shifting late but before you have to spool the turbo for a good exit seems to help but IDK. It's a crapshoot. I can consistently run .3xx laps but it's hard to get it right every single time.

I'm a few 1/10ths slower than you guys but I use default ABS it's all fine and I use default DD Pro rotation but that's more natural for VR but bumper/bonnet cam is imagine the tight turning radius would be faster.

The one issue i have is unwinding the lock to match Hollo's cleaner acceleration, it makes such a difference to the time getting a cleaner drive out of the final hairpin.

I thought i would hate Eiger (as always) but 1:16:07 and 2,22% is pretty nice for me. I'll try to get a 1:15 when I can.

I got stuck at .105, where the fast section after the pit was on fire yesterday I totally forgot how to handle it this evening, very frustrating cause I ran multiple high 5 splits after the dipper what should get me lower than that 🤪
