I just find it way more fun than frustrating. Very enjoyable.
While my first reactions to the tire squealing nonsense I first found on driving the car were shock and awfulness, I must say that as you figure it out I am coming round to liking this combo.

I tend to do better on short technical stages where I can have a high degree of repetition. Gives me plenty of do-over tries.

I'm in the club after a couple small adjustments to my method. I feel another tenth is needed to remain in the top 100. I'll get it...😁

One of the hardest corners on Eiger Nordwand is the big right hander at the bottom of the track. When I'm going around it, the steep elevation change doesn't seem that obvious but when I look back, it's much more apparent. Not being able to get an accurate understanding of the elevation changes as I'm driving really effects my ability to gain time. Hard to know what works sometimes.

This is one place where PSVR2 real shines. You can really see the elevation change and see how that corner transitions from downhill to uphill.

So I have done 1.38.3 and it is very safe into Silver and 1.2 sec off GOLD. I was not able to improve. 2 more days left and I realize it will be hard to improve with AT, but I do not have experience to use MT.

I gave it a go today, just to try if I can put a more or less ok lap with MT and I was happy that a lap with many mistakes, a very cautious lap put me in SILVER too.

I think I am officially done with AT and will start learning and improving with MT.

@Lightpilgrim, I know it's been said already and you've addressed it and I respect your reasoning, but not driving in MT is hampering you. Not having control of your gear selection disadvantages you in the corners where it's imperative for you to make use of the transmission.

It doesn't have to be now or with the SF/Suzuka TT, maybe even practice outside of a TT, but you will benefit greatly getting used with MT.👍
