@half_sourly I have you surrounded! 🤣

0.001 either side!

Gotta keep @Dan_Tes honest, don't we?

Not a preferable TT for me. Can nail the first corner but druids is pretty hit-or-miss.

@Metalgear9493 im surprised you're skipping this one. The math has the opportunity to math here.

That is a dangerous game bro, just ask partially-retired @Vule ….!

I’m having trouble with my steering angle defaulting to maximum all the time, anyone with a Logitech G Pro having this problem also? I feel like I never know what steering angle it’s set to so who knows what I’m using, is it when I go back to menu that it defaults??

I have a Logitech g pro wheel base as well. Mine is defaulting to max similar to yours. Im unsure if it’s the intended behavior but as long as I stay out of the menus my settings are sticking. Oddly enough my best lap was competed on max steering angle where any small touch sends the kart spinning off 😂 I do wish PD would adjust the steering angle to something that makes a bit more sense.

Yeah..... I don't know.... I'm not liking it very much .....but I don't hate it either.... 🤣

T1 is fine.... even in bumpercam, but T2 ....just no..... very weird kind of handling on the thing.... getting in the gravel is hilarious, with sudden 360 .... physics are great 🤣

But the good news is.... I now have the opportunity to leave it ...or don't... this should hold 🤣

Gah, shouldn't have poked the bear. I fear that on my feeble G29 I stand no chance. A hair left or right in steering sends me into the shadow realm. Awesome lap!

Turn on thr nannies, no way irl a kart is this nervous.
The couple I’ve been in were pretty pretty nervous. But they were low grade garbage karts too.

I didn’t have too much trouble with the steering on the G29. Took a lap or 2 to stop wildly over-steering but then it wasn’t so bad.

First session with the kart at Brands Hatch..man that thing is nervous:nervous:!I though about turning some assists on but no ..I'll tame that thing on my own! Took me between 5 and 10 attemps to complete my first full lap ... was a 51.810. Went on, learning each lap..
PXL_20250320_222139289.MP.jpg

These were my first 11 laps. I was happy with that gold time and about to switch off the ps5 and thought to myself :I can get under 50 seconds today!
So i kept trying..
PXL_20250320_233407835.MP.jpg

..and did it 1h30 later!
(yes I prefer retrying each lap bc if I see myself setting fast sectors 1/2 with that blue arrow I'll 100% bin it I can't handle pressure XD)

I dont really want to go again, I feel that thing requires as much focus as the SF at Suzuka somehow. I'm happy with a sub 50 :-). Just hope it will remain a safe gold, but if it slips within 1 tenth of silver I'll have no choice ..

Driving the kart is a lot of fun but it can behave in strange ways sometimes. I know there's more in the kitty because my lines were pretty miserable through the first and last corners. I just don't trust the machine enough as a slight miscalculation will either have you scrubbing the front tyres with a tonne of understeer or spinning out in an instant. After that I went back to Eiger Nordwand in order to improve my time and after only 4 laps, I did this:

I honestly don't know how I did it. The car felt more lively the second time around and I suddenly had more authority over the brakes and steering. I found myself dragging the brake as I turned which must've helped the car's rotation through the corners. The unconventional nature of this track cannot be tamed by conventional means, so this kitty has to think outside the cardboard box.

@ScottPuss20 I agree that the kart is fun. I feel like it handles so differently than anything else in the game.

There’s room to improve on my 50.07. After an hour or so of the kart, I jumped back into a GR3 and immediately under-steered into oblivion, so took some time to get back to normal 😃

Evening everyone - too many posts to catch up on and react to at this time of night, but managed to grab some time in the Kart this evening after a short blast this morning. Haven’t tried auto gears or adjusting the steering angle yet (just read that above) - off to a good start, but man my shoulders ache! Lots of fun!

I'm not really sure how what are my feelings about the new TT.
It drives very different than anything else and the steering is too much sensitive.
I've got my time with ACS on but it think it came from the earliest lap where I struggled a lot with throttle application. I think I can maybe get away without it. Will give it a try

I think I have room for improvement in the last turn, not optimal line and throttle management there.

So close but so far, i guess....

Presumably because he exits the session after each lap. So what you see there are all the session best times, and with each session consisting of a single lap, it's essentially every lap
Is there a way to disable delta's display, without removing all hud entirely ? To be able to lap without deltas but not without infos ?

I get the pressure of the delta time but without it i wouldn't be able to learn where to choose which line. Every lap you see what works and whot doesn't. I have to say i learn mostly by myself (which isn't optimal, i know). I don't use ghosts and rarely watch a Tidgney Youtube lap.

Being able to switch the delta on and off (in licenses and CEs too!) would be great.

@half_sourly has a way of doing it, it is not digital, nor you can find you in settings.... do you want to show him how it is done ?
I know his very "advanced" technique 😁

I think that if you follow a ghost you can also see where you can gain time, so I won't mind getting rid of delta pressure but I must say that it feels much less stressful with more experience.

Anyway when the delta is very good and the lap time is ready to be beaten by a good chunk, I am way too tense and generally butcher something on the way.

And without any infos or ghost, I am slower (yes it is possible to be slower)

Would be cool to be able to hide/show it when we want.

Morning folks,

wow, this thread ......, somany new posts if you look the other way 😂 😂

I did a first session on the kart, a proper TV session instead of the thursday remote, and it's not the best on the...

Remote-O-meter 7/10 ( Little to sketchy for it but short, fast and doable )

Pad friendly 7,5/10 ( it surprised me a bit this morning it's fairly doable what i wasn't expected, agile and tankslapping but managable )

Had a few laps that were binned that were faster and had an optimal of .201
And what a joy to just be able to keep lapping instead of restart everytime for e better line up for T1

and as expected..... the terror has returned immidiately..😂😂😂

Nothing against @half_sourly advanced AI driven data offuscation system, but it's not applicable to me.
My senior consulor advisor to house furnitures setup and mainteance (aka my wife) told me not to dare to put anything on the tv screen.

I'm turning all the info off (no way I guess to selectively remove) and use an old phone with Sim Dashboard app to show only the info I want. It's probably the same in every app, but here I show gear, tyres, current speed, and a beautifull display iracing style with throttle and brake% showing last 15s trends
