After pure hate for snow tracks as i started with GT7, i started to really like them.
Until that Michelin TT came around. I was lightyears behind the fast guys!
Right now i'm not sure if i'll take that challange. Maybe i prefer to practise for the Manu Cup races, that would definitely be better for my nerves! :D

If I remember it correctly the last snow TT (Michelin Alpin Challenge 2024) didn't invalidate when touching the bollards. I assume (or rather, hope) they keep the same settings this time
Correct, the Euro only one you mention was fine, but the main TT from Nov 2023 was not - see Tidgney's video at 1.58 and those of us who participated will remember the agony well.

At least just short track. This gives us not-aliens a little possibility to reach a silver or gold time.

@Barareklam thanks to your guide / video i mastered gold in S-5 master license. Maybe you can give us no-snow-drivers some advises/tips.

Yes of course, gladly. I can share more when TT starts, but in general, start turning in much earlier than you do on asphalt, immediately after you rotate steering wheel, straighten it so wheels points straight (you are still before apex and will slide next to apex) when you reach apex you turn in one more time to hug the corner, then as soon as you pass apex straighten wheels again, maybe even point to opposite direction so car slides through corner and not rotate too much. Keep that in mind not to rotate car too much but if you can go straight line from turn to turn, that goes faster.
🙂
@half_sourly thanks for great work you do.
And encouragement to @All on this thread to click on link in Half Sourly's signature and get him a cup of coffee
