What's the Gr.4 car I should be using?

Still have no clue how to tackle the last corner.
Flat in, lift/brake appropriately at the top, flat out. If you time it right, you should be absolutely flat on the inside curb on the exit onto the straight. It's probably worth absolutely sending into into the Californian countryside a few times in order to find the limit haha

The meta usually distills itself within the first day. I'm not sure if anyone is knowledgeable about the meta for the current Gr. 4 daily. Maybe that could be an indication but it is also track dependent.

Gr. 4 also tends to not have this one dominant car usually but maybe the latest BoP change has changed this.

Somehow or someway i got close to the top 100 at Lake Louise, a track that i not really like and only after an hour of driving.
I'm surprised of myself 😂

It will be the GTR/Lambo possibly the Evo and the anti meta will be the Veyron.

I don’t think the TT/Scirrocco or Mazda 3 work round there anymore.

Edit: the bop for Gr4 wasn’t changed. The reason typically a car in Gr4 is meta is gearing. Like at RBR the Evo could stay in 5th

The GTR for this weeks race B has very short gearing but enough for the back straight. Then there is the 4/AWD makes it a bit easier to drive and the torque.

To be honest, I'm looking forward to some Willow time, it's the track I hadnt had any feel for, I never realy liked it, then we had timetrials there and man.... that track grew on me big time, same as goodwood, I'm loving it now!, should be a easy gold for the majority but a pain in the rear to get high worldwide cause we all know how that goes with gr4's by now 😁🤣

The results for TT136 at Daytona Tri-Oval in the Chaparral 2J '70 are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT is in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Here are some interim statistics for TT137 at Lake Louise Short Track Reverse in the Toyota GR Corolla MORIZO Edition '22.

Hi,

Once again - A massive thank you to half_sourly for the statistics you prepare for us. Fascinating and entertaining and frustrating in equal measure! 😃

A friend of mine beat me by 1/1000th of a second at Daytona. Some quick and rough maths revealed that he beat me by less than 4 inches or less than 100mm!!!

Looking forwards to trying Big Willow.

Good luck and happy lapping to all of you.

Best regards.

Ian.

The power of them doing an easy TT: Through the power of being next to the Daytona one, more people have already tried the Lake Louise TT in less than a week than did any of the other dirt/snow TTs in the full two weeks.

In hindsight it's pretty smart of PD to do - they know they have an engaged playerbase that will react to "free 2 million credits!", and then people stick around to do TTs they wouldn't otherwise do because they're already in the menu so why not.
I'm not so sure it was all that smart to follow up the one that attracted a bunch of new people with one that will make a bunch of those same new people say "ah screw these things!"

My first day controller test run has me solidly in silver at Willow so that usually indicates that gold is where I'll land. Which is good after the struggle in the snow...

Sorry if this was asked before, but why are some names colored in Yellow, example your name is. :) thanks.

Until today I was always under the impression that Willow Springs was a fictional track. In any case I Iook foreward to driving it again. It looks incredible. Especially during that single player race where it changes from daylight to dark. Great track all around.
