This could be a one session only TT. Not sure now but chasing some extra time doesn't feel fun at the moment.

Well, that DeLorean TT must be on e of the easiest ever. 10 laps and, as the gold time doesn't drop by more then a second, save gold.

It's a different story at the Gr. 4 TT. Only did 6 laps (in the Cayman) and hit exit as soon as the laptime was golden. I just can't stand that track!
Every day I anxiously check to see if there is a new record, i just hope it will last.

Alright folks, winter holidays are over, time to hit the road again. 😉

Tried the DeLorean yesterday for a 30 minute session and while I liked it quite a bit I sort of hit a ceiling around 1:48.5. Tonight the car started to reveal itself to me though and lap times came down slowly but surely. In the end it was a two hour session because I really wanted to break into the 1:47 (in fact I had two invalidated 1:47.9 - track limits in the first tunnel of S2 are weird) and an optimum of 1:47.842. But it just would not happen yet. I‘ll be back for more …

At Willow Springs I had fun as well with the 4C, and I am not too far off a top 100 time, but fighting for the final hundreths was beginning to feel like a chore … maybe I‘ll revisit if and when missiom 1:47 at Deep Forest is accomplished 😉

Happy lapping, as ever! :gtpflag:

I also had a session at Willow Springs. Something clicked on the left hander at the bottom of the hill and I finally seem to be taking that better and shaved 2/10ths of my previous time.

Disappointedly I was on for a 1:17.6x on the next lap until the last corner when I wiped out 🤦

Decent start in the DeLorean. It’s an interesting car for sure, but quite enjoyable around this track. It’s early days, but this feels a decent start. Lap shared. Will take another run at Willow Springs tomorrow in the morning before heading off to the Air|Water event here in SoCal.

Morning folks,

Another Delorean session this morning and i am beginning to understand how to drive the thing but still room for improvement.

My fastest S1 was a .342 this morning but invalidated on the last corner, that's an absolute prick of a turn btw.. 🤣

But jot to Shaabbbyy at all flying into the 47's with a 47.920

Lots of laps in the 48.0 and a few 47's .
Looks promising 😁

I think if all goes wel a mid 8 is possible, we will see!
Goal 1 achievement...47's....check
Now focus on keeping that top 100 which I guess needs mid .8 or something maby??

So..
I wanted to break the 1:18 barrier at Willow Springs, the 458 Italia was my weapon of choice. I was at a 1:18.288 at the time.
Initially The plan was to do a quick 20 or so minutes session, just to try.
Quickly improved to a 1:18.141 👍, so I kept going..1:18.048, almost there 👀..
Game then proceeds to troll me with a nice 1:18.000. 👆 It's when I lost it and became obsessed.
Drove 735.1 damn kilometers and got nothing to show for it except sore fingers 🤬
Ok, maybe I'll try another car this morning, this 4C everyone uses for exemple. 30 minutes later :

And the lap was quite messy. So yeah, this car is just plain quicker around willow(it being 300 kg lighter than the 458 might be a factor :banghead: ).
It'll teach me to try to be original
