I don't really comment here as my typical results (bronze) aren't exactly enticing

I do have one gold now (by hugging the yellow line at Daytona) and have a grand total of 4 silver medals. It seems though that that number will be 50% more in about 9-10 days! After getting a decent bronze time at Willow Springs I saw the opportunity for a silver, so took my chances with the Cayman, and got a 1:20.274 - I'm pretty sure there's a a tenth or two there to find but I hope that this will be enough to the end.
Now, the DeLorean TT. First, despite having bought my first GT game (GT5) on Black Friday 2010 alongside a PS3 I'm not particularly familiar with the Gran Turismo's original courses, so that's always an additional hurdle for me. Nevertheless, I tried a few rounds with the controller (almost 100% using my G29) because I was curious and managed to get a 1:54 something, so at least the bronze was secure. Then today I thought, let's try with the wheel! As it turns out, since I pay more attention to the TTs, I did get better and managed a 1:53.420, was quite satisfied with myself - until I saw that it was rather close to the silver cut-off at 5.77%.
At this point I did this all by myself, no external help but I know I had to call in the big guns, so loaded up my trusty source,
@Tidgney's guide. Having completed quite a few laps already it was much easier to follow his directions (I think this is another thing I have to apply in the future) and after several frustrating invalidations and some better and better laps I ended up here:
Again, I do hope that it will be enough for the remainder of the TT, even if my leaderboard placement will be significantly lower but if all hell breaks lose, my ideal time so far was 1:50.9, so there's still some room for improvement.
PS: the Willow Springs silver time also need some help from Mr. Grady
