Hi @half_sourly ,

I reckon you can add me to your data scraping queue. G29 wheel. Maybe add a "display" column for Flat/VR as well? If you do, put me down as VR.

I'm not real reliable with the TTs. Only do them when the combo is of interest. Will probably skip the current Honda. FF ain't my cup.

BTW I like the parabolic graph. 👍

:gtpflag::cheers:
I'll add you in from next week. I've set out here why adding columns for various variables is not ideal.
Because I'm a sucker for OCD, @half_sourly here are a few region specific TTs you have missed.

USA only Porsche Esports Challenge

Honda Civic Under 17 (you only put the Nordschleife one)

Japan only Bridgestone Challenge

Japan only Kagoshima Championship

Japan only Mazda Spirit Racing GT Cup

UK only Play With Champions TT

If anyone knows any more "hidden" TTs do tell but I think that's it. If someone has time they can check every region's version of the GT website :P
Thanks for sharing those. It is not that I don't know about (some of) them, just that I chose not to include them on this thread. I've chosen to report on only those events that most of the world can take part in, and have them split them by the 'standard' TTs (those that start every Thursday and run for two weeks) and 'special' TTs (those that promote something, or fall outside of the usual cycle).

I did report on the Play with Champions one over here. I will not report on the U17 event because the results are not public - note how the names have been redacted and I don't want to mess with possible data breach issues involving children.

That leaves the USA and Japan only events. We have no Japanese players on our community boards, so I doubt there is a need for them. That said, if enough people want those, the USA and the UK ones added to the results here, let me know and I'll do it. What I won't do is add them into the overall medal tallies, leader-board averages etc., as that will take a monumental rewrite of formulas and reorganisation of the now 60 standard TT files, and of course since not everyone can take part in them, it will skew results.

So upshot - if enough people want the results, I'll do them (bar the kids' one). Hit the fire button if you want them and if we get to say 23 (because tenuous Aussie cricket reference) then I'll sort it out.

There will then be the issue of adding new ones, where I'll rely on folk to inform me of new ones that pop up for US and Japanese players, or other regional ones.

Makes sense, thanks for explaining your reasons for not including them. As you said, I don't think it will be worthwhile to do a full stats breakdown for these regional specific TTs due to the low utility to the community (and also privacy reasons for the U17 ones). But maybe just include their details (date, car, track, tyres) in the OP for completeness. There were also 2 TTs before the Escudo Alsace one that did not have credit rewards, and they seem to have been forgotten as well (Gr.3 at Suzuka and Gr.1 at La Sarthe, unfortunately I didn't note the tyres).

It's just an OCD habit of mine to keep track of things :P Back in GT Sport we can see everything on kudosprime. Now we can't anymore and the official GT website removes the older TTs as new ones get added, so it would be nice to have a record of everything here on GTP permanently.

Anyway, it's your thread in the end so it's up to you. Thanks for your consideration either way :)

This one was a weird TT. At one point PD cleared the leaderboard. Not sure if it was an issue with cheating or people creating alt US accounts.

Even being a rally stage, I would have thought we'd have some more Gold in there. I would have to check my replays to see if I still have one to reference my time.

I think I did one session on this, managed one clean lap, and confirmed that rallying on this game is not for me. The contrast between my results in the 917 and 959 could not be more stark😂

It does appear weird, but I double checked using the Stats widget @crome wrote (see below) and doing a manual check on total numbers and gold numbers.

If I recall, it was wiped because of the multiple accounts.

As for the low number of golds, many just put in a lap to get the free car. There was no extra incentive (credit or otherwise) to go for a certain medal. Personally, I initially did a few laps leading to a decent time. Once the board got wiped, I only bothered to run one clean lap to get back on the board and receive the car since I don't care much for rallying.

I also just noticed that we set identical lap times at Daytona. But you're ahead because you must have set your time first. Argh!! :irked:

I remember that!

@half_sourly I checked and that time is what I've got saved on my replays. Not that I doubted you. Just the whole event getting wiped made my memory hazy about the event. I know I set two times, but I don't have a previous replay saved to see if the earlier, pre-wipe time was different.

Last update to this post 21 January 2024

This thread presents the results of GT7 Time Trials (Lap Time Challenges), along with community leader boards. I used to post the results every week in the main thread set up by @seadog777, but as interest and participation have grown, so has the desire for people to look back at previous results.

This opening post is an index of all TTs and I will update it after each TT with a link to the relevant post. There are tables for:
  • Standard TTs - Those that start every Thursday, run for two weeks and are open to most countries.
  • Special TTs - One-off events open to most countries.
  • Regional TTs - Events open only to drivers from specific countries.
Please note that although events open only to minors are listed (in red), the results are not produced, because the drivers' details are not publicly available (see here for example).

The second post is a running community scoreboard updated after each TT.

This Main Table shows details of each standard TT with a difficulty ranking and I update it after each TT.

Should you wish to be included in the community leader boards, please leave a note here, in the main TT thread, or directly to me, with a link to your personal profile site ("My Page") on the Gran Turismo site. Here is mine by way of example. Please also tell me if you use a controller or a wheel.

It’s been a VERY long time my friend! Hope you are well… I see from the latest TT that you haven’t got any slower!!

I had a look at the regional TTs and found some more Japanese ones (here) but all bar one were for minors. So with only the one UK, three US and one Japanese one, I've created a table for them in the first post and have posted their results. Let me know if you see others and I'll add them in.
Amazing, thank you for going into so much effort and including the percentage details for the non-minor TTs as well.

I noticed the U12 Bridgestone ones, but to save space on the original post I didn't include them. Apart from the age bracket they are identical to the U17 ones. I figured you can see them yourself when you open the main TT list page and decide to include them separately or not :P

I'll keep a lookout if any more region specific TTs come up in the future. In the meantime keep up your good work 👍

I will update the index of TTs and the 2024 and all-time scoreboards shortly.

Drivers with gold in all TTs
The number of drivers with gold in all standard TTs remained at 105.

Interim Results for TT62 are over on the other thread.
I don't know if it's an oversight but there is no, GTP Leader board

Community scoreboards, with all-time statistics and by calendar year. UPDATED 25 January 2024.

The first scoreboard shows all-time standard TT results - number of gold, silver and bronze awards; finishing position on the community leader board for each TT, an average leader board position, by which the table is ordered, as well as top placing in a TT, average placing in all TTs and number of Top 100 TT placings. Any new drivers' results will only be added for future TTs.

This scoreboard has the same information, but for the standard TTs run in 2024. I update it after each TT.

This scoreboard has the same information, but for the 45 standard TTs run in 2023.

And this is the scoreboard for the 14 standard TTs run in 2022.
Hi sir
I would have liked to know by what calculations you obtain them average GTP Placing for 2024 and average GTP placing for all the times ? Because when I calculate I don't get the same figures. Just because I also created a summary table of my scores
Thanks again Sir for your beautiful work 👏👏👏👏
