Here are some statistics for TT127 at Autodromo Nazionale Monza in the Gran Turismo F3500-A. Huge participation despite the difficulty.
BAH, 2nd time I've gone to bed with a Gold time (I was at 2.89% with 6 hours remaining) and woke up to silver. First time was the Nurburgring with Tuning Allowed time trial. I went gold to silver like 4 times on that one. Now Monza. My optimal was in the 1:24s but I couldn't seem to pull it all into one lap.

Considering what everyone said about the F3500-A, I managed to get a bronze in 3 laps (TC set to 3) and even improved on it a little - did a single session as I was out of country for 2 weeks, just had time a few hours before the event ended. I struggle with basically any car (see my TT results) but honestly, I enjoyed it, even bought it before I tried the TT, 1 million credits well spent :)

Haven't tried the Hyundai or the GT1 yet, but man, I'm exited about the latter. I've seen the GT1s back in 1998 in person, so any chance driving one of those is a win for me. I don't think that I have any chance for a silver considering I don't know the track, but that would never stop me :)

How does one get on that list? Asking on my shy friend's behalf
:)
how many speeding tickets needed?
First have you done the thing at midnight with the goat at the sacred alter?

If you have you can skip straight to step 4 which is a selfie with a newspaper dated today and holding a tin of baked beans

After that it's just the small donation to the "fund"

What a mess with that TT for me. First silver in the board. Didn't like the combo that much and felt to save, was gold even on the last evening about 9 hours before the end... And now I missed it by 0.016s. If it wasn't for my laziness, it would have been possible. Nearly the same as it was back in the day with Mp4/4 at Suzuka. But this was long before this community board showed up and motivated me more.

As always: a big thank you to half_sourly for your continuous effort!

I have saved a poor silver with the FT3500. I couldn't have been F1 driver during the 90's...
However, i'am not bad with the Ioniq, sometimes I get disgusted myself šŸ˜†.
Don't worry about the Monza time, you did great anyways so you should still be proud of yourself, don't give up hope for not reaching gold. Actually road cars are more suitable and comfortable for any of the beginners and amateurs of the game. The stock/group cars would be harder and more complex to control on harder circuits.

@half_sourly @NicoGmbh @Chris30 Thank you guys for the nice comments! šŸ„° I was barely gold at 2.89%, then at 2.99% šŸ˜… checking the gold time often until of course De Bruin did his coup d'etat 1 day before the limit, that heartless šŸ‘½šŸ˜‚ and debruined (pun here hehe) the gold at the limit and sent it to the silver realm. It was around 10pm, 1 day left, most of which I would be sleeping and working, hadn't touched that F3500 for 10 days and the last thing I wanted was to go all over it again (although I love the car), but I did, rechecking the replay, brake points, gears... all that. One hour into it I was about to quit. I was around 40 milliseconds from gold and becoming slower. Then I remembered... Rocky! (no joke):

ā€œThe world ainā€™t all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean and nasty place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ainā€™t how hard you hit; itā€™s about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. How much you can take, and keep moving forward. Thatā€™s how winning is done. Now, if you know what youā€™re worth, then go out and get what youā€™re worth. But you gotta be willing to take the hit, and not pointing fingers saying you ainā€™t where you are because of him, or her, or anybody. Cowards do that and that ainā€™t you. Youā€™re better than that!ā€ ~ Rocky Balboa

And kept moving forward. And then -boom! A sub-25 time, I was ecstatic, pity I didn't record it cause I was screaming lol. Or maybe it was better that I didn't.

Thank you @half_sourly as always for your dedication and making GT7 even more fun and challenging! šŸ”

This must have happened to so many people and the reason for the few golds, it can be seen in the graph, how the peak of drivers with previous gold is behind the gold limit:
