Finally, very happy to have finally won a small gold cup... But I have to nuance it because the participation was down by 20% compared to the average of this beginning of the year.

I think a lot of racers have abstained or done the bare minimum... except @crome @P-Courty who are on fire right now.

Finally, a thought for @Vule that allows 99.9% of the participants to earn one place in the ranking.

I failed to lower down to my OPT at 1:37,1. Eventually was to tired to be consistent and shave off thick 0,5s!

Happy my gold held up in the Ioniq. I was getting worried when my time - which had been locked at 2.66% for about a week - suddenly dropped to 2.7x% and then 2.83% on the last day!

It's not scary enough that of the 118 GTP contestants , that there are 10 GTP contestants in the top 100, or 21 in the top 200. By my observation, there are 13 current GTP Scoreboard contestants who had previous top 100 finishes (including 9 with top 50 finishes) who did not participate at Nurburgring Short in the IONIQ.

When I saw my favorite group in the new TT (Gr4) and especially in rainy conditions, I immediately got the urge to assembe my rig, but I spent the last month creating my new office space in that corner, so It'll have to wait, probably for a long time. I tried couple of AI races on a controller and went full autistic, so no driving for me at all I guess

Seriously though, thanks, it was a hard piece of work, and I am very happy with the result. I choose to ignore the lower engagement rate on this one, you should do the same. It's still above average all things considered.

To get near the top spot takes insane skill and serious work, plus a bit of luck, and then hope that nobody sneaks up on you at the last minute... 🙀

Now I feel some commitment and motivation to try harder because I normally stop bothering once I get to what I think it should be a safe gold, resulting many times that it wasnt that safe

So many aliens here, really impressive!

Edit: this challenge will also help me to take some breaks from the toxic ambient that some weeks I can find in sport mode.

I can't say I did the bare minimum here, I really put some time and mileage into this knowing not many people were enjoying it, giving me a better chance at that top 100.

Looks like me and you now have a bit of a challenge on to chase down some aliens 🔥

Its pretty rare, but I genuinly had the pace for P1 with the Hyundai. I just could'nt get through the last chicane if my life depended on it.
Opimal was a 35.8, but yeah, couldnt get last sector together.

Kind of bummed. 5'th Again😅 When will I get that podium?🥲

That's quite a big task and, to be brutally honest with you, I personally have already punched above my weight multiple times against lads with far superior equipment and better refined skill set. I think I've managed P3 four or five times, which is godlike for my standards. Plus, in the end of the day, the unmeasurable effort a P1 would require just isn't worth at all as long as I won't get any sort of meaningful reward to justify it.

This might sound crazy but when I joined this place I thought of you, sir, as a driver I could only one day hope to be remotely as fast as. I watched a few of your laps over the course of a few time trials and just couldn't believe someone could do what you consistently did every week with a controller. It literally blew my mind and changed what I knew was possible as a very casual but fervent GT player for every single release over the years. So truly, thank you for inspiring my trajectory here in the last few years.

But to add to the rest... This place is insane. I'm mad these days if I can't gold in a lap or 3. Like I'm lacking. 😂🍻🍻👍
