My worst ranking since the TT86. Quickly forgotten even if it's a gold medal !!!! Well done to everyone else !!!!

Surprised only 10% managed gold, felt like a lot of guys were clearing the bar early and by a solid half a second or so.
I guess it depends on your frame of reference. 9.9% of all contestants. 85.2% of GTP Scoreboard contestants. With a gold time of 50.248,
47 (38.5%) of the GTP Scoreboard entries cleared that hurdle by at least a half a second.

Congrats to a lot of folks.
This place gets faster and faster.

GTP Scoreboard example using data from post #2 in this thread:
(People in the top 500 are also in the top 1000 and top 2000,
People in the top 1000 are also in the top 2000)
In 2024 there were 167 GTP participants including people with multiple ids,
there were 11 participants whose average place was in the top 500,
23 whose average place was in the top 1000
and 32 whose average place was in the top 2000.

In 2025 (as of TT133) so far:
There are 163 GTP participants including a couple of people who have multiple ids,
there are 20 participants whose average place is in the top 500,
32 whose average place is in the top 1000
and 41 whose average place is in the top 2000.

A few people have left, and nearly as many have joined.

That's two weeks in a row where I was the "first place" non top 1000. Must try harder to get into top 1000....
It's when you see 220'843 players 😵 you say to yourself it's not bad at all to be in the top 100 😊
Is that number of players or number of attempts though?

If it's like crome says, i don't think the fact that there are more players makes the difference in the top 1000 ! Maybe just the fact that some TTs are more enjoyable and fun.

? It's the number of unique PSN accounts that posted a time...the number of attempts would probably be in the hundreds of millions!

Players. Entries on the global leaderboard really, and you can only have one of those (per account).

Thank you @half_sourly for your work despite your absence 👍

With the update this morning, it’s hard to be faster !

Congratulations to everyone and especially to those who managed to stay in the top 100... I will ask your opinion on the other thread.

@Dan_Tes Thank you for thinking of me 😎, I went back to my bed 98th and woke up 104th 😭 😄
Bro brutal 😂😂 you’ll get that 👽 soon enough dude you are on the right trajectory!

I'm still getting my bearings reading through all the pretty info provided. Had a bit of chuckle at myself and my collection of 13 medals compared to everyone else's in the 1 percentile. I was soooo late to this party! 😆

Thanks for what you do, @half_sourly! 💕

Regarding personal best place: I think I will never be mentioned regarding achieving best personal placement :( I finally checked how my best place was 39,388 - as it turns out, TT118 (X2019 on Nurburgring 24h) was so unpopular, that my not-even-bronze time (14.5 seconds OFF the bronze time!!!) was "good" for this placement :D

In reality, I consider my 4th silver (go-kart on Brands Indy) as my personal best placement but numbers are numbers, I accept my fate :) No matter what, as always, thank you @half_sourly for putting together the list and @Tidgney to give some tips that even plebs like me can use to better themselves!
