Tips for Maggiore circuit experience lap?

I got the silver but am nearly 1.5 second away from the gold. Apparently I am ~ 2 seconds slower on the first sector compared to the demonstration but I cannot really see how I am already that far behind. The final couple of turns are also not going well for me as I cannot carry nearly as much speed into them as the demonstration shows.

I've had a similar experience. What worked for me and allowed me to beat the gold time was playing with traction control at 0 instead of 2, like I was doing previously.

I got it too yesterday. I already had TC at 0 but I just played the demo ghost in front of me and followed his lines as much as i could. The last couple corners can really make a big difference

The Circuit Experiences in GT7 are pretty tough when compared to GTS in my opinion. I remember getting gold in no more than 2-3 tries in GTS, but I've spend upwards of 50 miles in a few cars trying to gold the lap in GT7 on a few circuits. I've been running with TC 0 and using the Demo Ghost trying to match them best I can. Have only beaten them once, but as long as you're close you'll get Gold.

I've been making it a point to do the Circuit Experience anytime I get access to a new track and its been fun, but slowing my game progression since its taking me a while for some of them. Almost to the point where I might skip them for now since I'd like to progress a little more and unlock a few more things.
