After reading the O.P many times I have a few questions before the season gets under way.

1- since each week is 2x20 minute races. For Race 1 I'm assuming there will be an how ever amount of qualifying session before race 1. I may have missed that and may have listed on the O.P? Then for the second race how will the grid be determined? Reserve grid? Or based on results or?

2- As Vetteman, I understand this is your series which is great. I'm really looking forward to this series, but as of the points each week, from 11th place to 16th place you only get 1 point. Myself I do disagree with your scoring system but then I respect it in all ways. Because if a guy finished 11th and another guy finished 16th. I find it not that fair for a guy to finish 11th and get the same amount of points as the guy in 16th. Just a thought either way I understand your scoring. Just a matter if the people who signed up will actually show up. That's a problem in all series is that they sign up but never show up. But we will see how the season goes.

Anyways I just wanted to ask those questions so I understand a little better what will be going on every Saturday afternoon.

Thanks Vetteman and all the TIRE Stewards for organizing this. 👍

Yes it will be reverse grid for race 2 but I understand the point system concern, when I created the points system I did not expect a lot of people but so I used the points for all system I have used previously but the system will be changed to the Top 10 get points and not everyone gets points

DRIVER BANNERS
If you want yours please like the post so I can PM it to you as I do have the individual ones ready to go. These will be used for points standings and race result graphics which will be under the race reports post on page 1

Okay, sorry for the delay on the banners those will be coming really soon.

In other news, this Saturday at 6pm EDT (3PM PDT) we will have an open test and this will be the only optional test and will not count as one of the required tests. You will be allowed to come and go as you please but try to make it as it will be a benefit to attend.

Also, All races will have an attendance sheet where you must confirm your attendance or absence. This is due to the expected high turnout and so we can see if we can get one of the reserves to fill in. However, I understand that life happens and that things pop up unexpected so just send me a PM or post here.

Late Arrivals- My policy on this is as follows, If you confirmed your attendance but have not shown up at the scheduled start time of qualifying we will wait a maximum of ten minutes, and if the grace period expires and you show up either during qualifying or race one, you will be allowed to race in the second race but will be subject to start of the rear of the grid, failure to do so will end up in a 60 second time penalty.

What day of the week we'll be running this? I'm studying at night during Uni, so week racing is out of my approach haha

It is with a heavy heart that I must temporarily retire from sim racing due to multiple circumstances involving college and my available equipment. I wish all my past competitors good luck!

Saturdays, because I too am at college so thats the only day that works for me
Unfortunately I will not be attending any races. Once my Demio Cup is finished I will be selling my G27 and taking a break from GT for a while. You can give my spot to the next reserve. 👍

The fact that both of you guys signed up for our freshman series is a real honor and I completely understand why both of you are choosing to leave, but thanks a lot for your interest

I'll be racing in real life Saturday night so unless my race gets rained out I won't be there for test and tune but plan to be there next Saturday of course.

Let us know how it goes and the lap times everyone is putting down 👍

TIRE Test session at 3:30 PDT (in half an hour). This test is purely optional, and tuning is prohibited as this is a spec series (just refreshing your minds as it's been a bit of a lengthy hassle). The session will be held in the TIRE GT6 Club (Club ID: 1047449), and will be opened by Skython11.

I'll join but I'll be using the DS3, only for today!

Wish I was alerted about this, I would've been on in no time.

Fastest times were around 1:33:5 on Red Bull Ring with ABS 1. I was running no ABS and was peaking around 1:34:0, if I remember correctly.

Sorry, there would have been more notice, but everything relating to organization went to bollocks.
Anyone have times for brands hatch since that's the first race this Saturday?

Long story short: my controler blew itself, got myself a second hand one but it's not working well either, it takes a while to respond to my commands so for now I'm currently out of racing. You guys can remove my name if needed.

I just want to let you guys know that unfortunately I'm not going to be present at the test sessions this weekend. I will compete at the GT Academy Live Event, which will be held 200km away from here, for two consecutive days, so it's impossible for me...

REMINDER: There is the First of Two official tests tomorrow, If you cannot make it try to make the next test which will be next Saturday
