got a race comming up and im trying to figure out a way to maximise tire wear on the corvette zr1 (RM), its a 4 hour endurance race on Nirburgring 24hr,

So far im using

Max downforce
Power limiter 50%
3 stage engine

LSD
4-10-15
Suspension
RH) 3/5
SR) 10.8/10.6
EXT) 9/3
COM) 9/3
ARB) 6/4

Camber 2.0/1.8
Toe -0.16/0.10 ( i use DS3 so i need the extra for turning)
Brakes are 6/5

Tires are RM's

Car specs are 404bhp, 1100kgs with 590 pp

Well firstly, use Racing Hard tires. Actually, I think sport softs are the way to go, especially with a car with such little power. They are great on tire wear too, and work just fine in the rain.

Turning up LSD settings and driving aids (specifically TCS and ABS) will also help tire wear, as they prevent loss of traction.

Other than that, it's mostly a matter of how you drive the car that determines how long the tires will last.

cant use TCS, and ABS is only able to be at 1, and its only 27 laps and im vsing about 9 r35 TC's so i gotta keep up with them

👍👍 Experiment with tire selection. There will be a certain tire that provides the right combination of lap times+number of pit stops. I've won enduro's before by choosing harder compounds to avoid pit stops, although at the 'Nurb it can be tricky, given the really long laps and relatively short pit stops.

Brake balance can be important too. Softer brake settings (2/2, 1/1) do not significantly affect braking distance but can help with tire wear. You can also adjust brake wear on the fly to help with the front/rear tire wear differential, if any.

Also, above all else, make sure your tires are wearing evenly front and back. Nothing worse than getting late into a run and finding out you can't control the rear of the car or you are pushing in every corner. Make sure the car is neutral in character.

Drop Camber to say..1.2/1.0. Reduce toe to lower settings while keeping proportion.

Alternatively try the setup I use. It's one of my favorite car setups ever put on GTP - Though I'm not sure how it works on 2.08. Dunno what tire wear is like but I've never had any problems (I have 10,000+ miles on my ZR1 RM). The setup is made for max power so when you use it at 400HP you can be sure it's going to be very stable and therefore you'll be less likely to spin your tires. Ignore his aero / tranny settings - Set these on your own. Tune by vette'e

Edit: If you want to turn..Try a toe of +0.06/-0.04 (I use the Toe setting given in the tune above for the zr1, but 0.06/-0.04 is my go to toe for when I want more rotation)(Really any positive/negative toe will yield oversteer, in my experience - experiment and see what you like).
