title update 3?

Personally, if I have no explicit plans of tuning/customizing a car then I don't keep it in my garage. Driving them all is what Free Play is for.

The menus are slow and cumbersome as it is. I can't imagine scrolling through your collection!! :boggled: At least they gave us a crude search function.

Surprisingly, 100 or 550 cars, menu speed was the same. It's not the number that caused slowdowns, it was the liveries and tunes in my case.

In an interview with Hookshot, Schafer shed some light on how much it costs to release a patch on Xbox 360 and PS3 (he was referring to modern consoles). Schafer explained, “those systems as great as they are, they’re still closed. You have to jump through a lot of hoops, even for important stuff like patching and supporting your game. Those are things we really want to do, but we can’t do it on these systems. I mean, it costs $40,000 to put up a patch – we can’t afford that! Open systems like Steam, that allow us to set our own prices, that’s where it’s at, and doing it completely alone like Minecraft. That’s where people are going.”

Yeah, 550 cars max and with the porsche DLC we'll be at 600+ cars I believe.
Thing is, I like cars and I like to have them all at my disposal.

Thats the beauty of FM's Free Play mode, all cars are available to you at anytime. Which is why I only buy the ones I really want to tune, paint or collect. :cheers:
 
Here's hoping the update is Live when I get home later. The long grind towards level 999 is going to be a fun one. I wonder who the first person to hit level 999 legitimate is going to be? More than likely it will be one of the people who are currently level 150 and are waiting to level up again.

At this writing, I'm only level 97. I can't see myself getting level 999 anytime before the end of the decade.
 
This thing needs to come out soon cause every XP point I earn, is going to waste. Reached 150 yesterday and noticed that the overall XP under the profile tab has stopped at 6,500,000. In other games with caps, the XP usually keeps going up as only the level is capped. Here, XP seems to be capped. I hope I'm wrong.
 
Just noticed they unstickied the apology thread for the title update.Maybe today is the day? *fingers crossed*
 
Someone mentioned Turn 10 can't figure out what the problem is and it will take longer than expected for the update to come out.So looks like it won't be released today or next week to be honest.:irked:
 
Good to see we may get an update tomorrow.I'm very curious to see what the P.I. fix does.If everything looks good then I'm back to hotlapping.
 
A bit disappointed, to be quite honest. I actually hoped that the PI fix would adress the dominance of the RWD drivetrain layout as well.
