When we ran at LeeeeMMaaaaa (My Twins )
I KNEW the pit set up was still buggy so I had to make my choices every time I went to the PITS... It did suck, but I rather deal with that then getting the wrong Tune or set up....
If the patch did not fix that yet, then I suggest to NOT rely on It :indiff:

When does that happens (I mean which session)?
I noticed something similar especially during the practice sessions. I have to check the value each time and set them again... :irked:
But obviously, it seems to be OK regarding the qualify session...
Unfortunately, I don't know which value are set for the race. Or do you know a way to see while driving which tires are mounted with which pressure?

I was in a race weekend in the career mode, thus I was first in the practice session, ran couple laps, then go to pit and change the setup, then go out do do couple laps then go back to the pit.

when I go to the setup menu, I notice all the setting are back to default value.

then I proceed to the qualify, same thing.

then I go to the race, same thing, have to change the setup everytime I go back to the pit.

Driving and car settings aren't the main points anymore 'cause handling with the pit-stop strategies became so tricky, that we have to practice it with very much attention (for my part in any case, I get so much stressed each time I have to pit...)... :odd: :irked:

I notice all the setting are back to default value.
Using the saved pit-stop settings could have been a solution, but the car settings (suspension, wheels and ride settings,...) get even so lost...

We should all test that issue...?... I'd like to know what @Ole and @Arveena have to report about it...

Alex, you noticed that only in the "career mode" right? But what about other game modes?

[EDIT]

We'll kick off the night with three short 4 lap races.
Tracks: Donnington GP, Brno, and Zolder with the Mustang Cobra TRANS AM.
I noticed that the Cobra TRANS AM behaves completely different on the 3 tracks. I didn't proceed to any car settings (in other words, I'm driving/practicing stock), but in case of complex settings necessity (one set for each track) how can we manage that??? Shall we proceed each time to a complete "tuning session" (dampers, springs, ride, and so on...)?
As far as I know, there is no possibility to save different car settings like in GT6 (A, B and C)... :odd:

You can save a different tune for for each track. Go to track set up car. The back out go to garage. Then your car is on the screen, select edit current tune. Once in your tune simply hit x, then you can save it to all tracks or just one certain track. Once you have the track or all selected i think you hit square to save? Good luck buddy hope this helps!!

Wow, thanks a lot for the precious advice bud! I'll try that as soon I'm back home... 👍 👍 👍

hey Val, I've only tried it in the career mode, will try it on a quick race weekend and online room and see.

It only happens in career mode for me. A Tip from me for setting up a car try to compare your laptimes with your own ghosts. Do the Setup in the garage and go into TimeTrial and laod your own ghost. When you changed your setup you now can see where you gain and where you loose time. So you know if you are working in the right or the wrong direction. After you are fine with your setup in Time Trial and it is fast. You should do longruns with fuel and see how it changes. Try to get a setup which is easy to drive with full fuel and low fuel. A full Time Trial setup is often a bad setup for the Race as you need to work to much and mistakes will happen and its unconsistent.

ALSO IMPORTANT FOR THE RACE!

You choosed x7 which is fine when everyone drives the same car. But there are a few bugs like not switchign tyres beeing stuck in the pit etc and many more. You can solve these bugs with refueling even if its only 1l always refuel in a pitstops and the bugs should be gone

Is this bug happening since the patch 1.04 as Alex mentioned here?

so Arveena I'm trying to wrap my head around your idea... As I wish there was an easier way to tune with a ghost...

I usually do my tuning in free run for a specific track...
So that is where I set up my track specific tunes...

Isn't the time trial with STOCK setups??

Maybe i can't see it because I don't have the game in front of me - but when you say load a ghost... Can you load ghosts from practice sessions where you've tuned a car?? How do you do that...

And then if you load that ghost in the time trial - you'd be racing a tuned ghost with the time trials stock setup?? Is that what you're saying?

I'm not able to see this in my head completely - but tuning with a ghost would be way better for me and I haven't figured out how to do it to see where my tweeks are helping or hurting

Time Trial is NOT with a stock setup. Its with the setup you selected in you garage and/or saved for the Track.
I dont think you can load a ghost in free practice. But even ÍF it would be possible as the track rubbers up in free practice and the weather and time can change while in TT everything stays the same.
I just load my ghost or the ghost of the current session and see how my setup changes compare to that. But beware you need to be consistent on this track to do it as you are racing you PB. Also just do it to get you an idea where the ideal setup is. This may change depending on fuel weather laps etc in the race. But you can finetune that in the practice sessions before the races or in free practice if you start instant with your races

OK Alex, same for me... :irked: 👎
I will drop the Career mode until this issue get solved...
I didn't write down my settings, so I've to start over... :banghead:
Trust (the software) is good, control is better!!!... One fixed bug brings a new one, pffff! :ouch: :odd:

[EDIT]
Hey @MannYhAvitZ, I wanted ask you since a few days. Could you actual solve your error code issue or is that still a recurrent problem???

Excellent racing tonight gentlemen.
Project Cars continues to be the best driving simulator out there.

Next week we race mphile77 races with the Mustang Cobra TRANS AM.

On July 9th we travel to Watkins Glen for round 2 of the GT3 class race.

The answer to tonight's question. Yes there will be a GT3 league schedule built.

It is definitely planned for next year along with other races.
