People are not complaing about quality mphile. They are complaining that they effectivly buying a 6 year old golf for the price of a new mercedes. While their own golf is not allowed to run on the best roads anymore. Also it would not get such a big echo if logitech would be known for such things. I have gotten 2 new keyboards from my parents both g series and I still use my 15 year old g15 because the new ones are glowing pieces of garbage same goes for my mx518. They never build a mouse like that again.
If you read a bit of hardware critics you would know something like that is their new poltics and they are not hearing to their customers whishes at all the last 5 years.
Of course it is a solid wheel but 200 euros more than a g27 with the same hardware. When i can get a thrustmaster wheel for the same money with hardware at least double the worth in it. It is just stupid. You wouldnt buy a 6 year old car for the prices of a new one even if it got new paint

One last point, when i switched from logitech to thrustmaster i got slower so im cant wait to go back. Gear drive better than belt drive...

Not sure of the date yet, but both circuits will be included in the 2016 schedule. :drool:
I'm hoping to build the schedule so our race will coincide with the actual race. :cheers:

And that is fine you can do that. What I wanted to say was just you neeed to understand those guys and not bash them. The fault is on logitechs side not on yours for loving their products and buying them. Also your situation is different. If you had a working g27 would you buy a new one without the shifter for double the money? I do not know if i were in the same situation as you i would maybe consider it but in the situation were you already have g27 it is mental. If they gieve me something new i would sell my g27 an play with you guys but i get even less. And dont come with the brake. I have a brakemod and it costed me 5 euros.

Also try watching this from a perspective when you only have 200 dollar or less to spent. For example students or countries with lesser income.

Who will be victorious?

I think the G29 will have features that the Thrustmaster products can't offer. Buttons for one.
Project Cars has a lot of settings and the wheel with the most buttons will win that battle.

The fact that the G29 can be used as a stand alone controller vs. using the Thrustmaster wheel and the PS4 controller is another plus.

The G29 has shifters that rotate with the wheel. T500 doesn't.
The G29's smaller wheel is also a benefit. You can reach the buttons without stretching your fingers.
It looks like the G29 has RPM lights. :eek: I haven't seen anything that they work. The Xbox version doesn't :lol:

Is Thrustmaster feeling the heat from Logitech. Yes they are. You can see it the price drops of the T500.

Is Thrustmaster working on a new wheel to replace the T500? Yes, yes they are.
For now let's call it T600 which in a few years will be replaced by the T700 and T800.

Logitech will improve on their products and release the G30 and G31 Pro wheel.

So far now. My hat goes to Logitech.

Logitech IS shipping a G29 wheel to PD for them to consider it's features and capabilities for Gran Turismo 7. :crazy:

Sorry tiger I love your optimisim! It is refreshing but I needed to laugh at that point. Maybe it is because I dont know the current console button misery on Pccars but with 2.0 this should be no Problem. But i would gladly get rid of all my buttons on the g27 if it would work on the PS4.
Also you forgot fanatec which looking at the prices for that logitech toy and yes it is just a plastic toy. I have a g27 i know it. When I spend that much money for that you can go to fanatec and buy a real wheel

last point about the wheel stuffs...

I think the main point is Mphile you just paid a good chunk of money for a T300 and it fails on you in 6 months!!!

Where lots of people are still using a so-called "cheapy" G27 that last forever.

The ironic thing is, those whose been using G27 is bashing the G29, to me it's just so funny.

You don't like G29, then go with a T300, see how long it will stand on you.

G29 and T300 are both about the same price, where G29 has leather wheel, 3-pedal panel and T300 is that toy-r-us rubber wheel that slip like crazy when you sweat, and those plastic 2-pedal panel.

The motors of course are different on both, but it all depends on which one gives you a better feel on the FFB, so it's down to personal preference.

I just deleted a full page of junk that really didn't mean a whole lot.

If it means racing with us in Asseto Corsa and Gran Turismo 7, I think you guys will pay up.
You have no choice. You must have your drugs just like the rest of us.

So start saving and when the time comes. Pay the drug master. :drool:

More seriously now, I noticed that the saved pit-stop strategies get reset from the practice sessions (1 and/or 2) to the qualify session. :eek:
I suppose they get sorted alphabetically or similar, so that the needed strategy for the current race is no more active!!! :odd: :ouch:
I use to verify during the very last session before the race, that the needed strategy is active and it worked till now.

In other words, don't think that the strategy you activated at the first practice session will be the same for the race!!! You absolutely should verify that!!! :eek:

In the meantime, I'm totally satisfied how works the pit-stop procedure (I must confess that I practiced it a lot).
The thing that I should much more practice/learn is the strategy itself... :dunce:
@MRTeam I think you're the strategy master there... :bowdown:
