I just watched a bit as it was very late here. How long did you drive?
Also I have a question for you guys. As I am going to make a more serious youtube channel with some very competetive footage i wanted to know an opinion from you.
I Race in the AOR (Apex Online Racing legue) a highly competetive Racing league for all platforms.
They organise their leagues in different categories. first of all they are having a GT3 and a Formula Categorie.
They they split the drivers depending on their skill level into diffrenent splits (split 1 fastest to split four slowest)
In the formula league there is also a diffrence in cars when you are in split 4 you race the formula rookie in split 1 the formula B (as the formula A is bugged atm).
I will compete in the league on the hightest lvl. what do you want to see more. GT3 Races (without all aids which sucks in my opinion) but i love the GT3 cars. With 1h long races.
Or Formula B which has obviously more pristige as its more difficult to drive with two shorter Races every week.
 
Good to see it went well, I wouldve joined you if it wasnt 2am here when you guys started :D

I had my own endurance race (also GT3 on Spa incidentally) and the AI was glitching and never made it past the first corner (among many other glitches and bugs), still had a blast though.

I was able to run softs for 30laps and had no issues? I could run same times through out whole race if i needed to. Now i did just ride around nice and easy a bunch to save fuel but tires should wear faster. I could run same times with full tank of gas as also with 2.9l left on my last lap. The handling of my car never changed? As for ai drivers, we wont even get into that 🤬 mess. Ai takes me out with a 9sec lead on last lap, needless to say mexi was honking the horn and waving at me as i was now stuck and pinned against wall, haha 🤬 me! Game still better than gt6 in my eyes just needs some tweaking!

This AINT no GT6
The Tyres are modeled like in Reallife in GT3 they last depending on track from 1.5h-3h. Most of the teams double stint them. In GT3 the diffrence between a full tank and a empty one is roughly 1sek. But in Raceconditions the Track gets more than 1 sek faster so you can be faster with a full tank later in the Race. Thats realism. Handling changes when tyres are going off also with fuel you wont notice it that much because you are used to it because it changes slowly and not like in GT "oh **** my tyres are at four suddenly I am on ice".
Also Hard Tyres are hard tyres and soft are softs not options and prime.
So depending on setup track temp etc the hard compound can be better for you
 
Ok tiger so which lmp's are we running june 11th. Im ready to get to work asap. Im licking my chops for the next event! I should be on tonight if you want to mess with them a bit, plus get a look at the track!
 
It probably comes down to our individual driving style and the competition.
There were times I was pushing too hard and experienced some brake fade.
Brake temps were a bit on the high side.

I noticed some cars around me locking up the rear brakes.

So again.

This ain't NO GT6.

another thing I have to work on is the start...

this problem has been affect my race since GT6, it's either too much wheel-spin(last night) or too slow(to prevent wheel-spin). :ouch::ouch:

Right now if you set up a room specifically to LMP cars.
The AIs will show up with both. LMP 1 and LMP 2.

There's a larger variety in the LMP 2 class.

So I know the FFB tweaker files are a bit easier on PC.... But I want to make sure you guys do everything you can to try to take the time to manually do them for your ps4 if you're running a wheel...

If you have, you know what a HUGE difference it makes... If you haven't you will thank yourself for taking the time!!!

Night and day.... So much easier to drive when you can feel what's going on... Stock FFB is ok - but those tweaker settings are 10x more effective.

Secondly... I'm enjoying PC on PC - I just did a 54car race in 250superkarts at Monza and have never laughed so hard in my life....

I doubt that after 20laps anyone finished with any bodywork left on them due to damage and the 2nd chicane the AI just launches themselves into the air and flips all over the place - you have to just let them destroy themselves and drive slowly through the debris... Hahahaha I drove under one that was cartwheeling over my head...
So hilarious

If you want my 250kart tune just pm me....

the formula rookie and the 250superkart are my favorite cars so far... And they are easy to practice tuning on as they don't have all the other variables as the real race cars....

I hope you guys take the time from being serious to race some real fun cars.....
 
another setting you might want to look at is the "Steering Ratio", it is in the car setup menu.

it alters the ratio between the steering-wheel input and the turning angle of the actual front wheel.

I played with it on the Austin Martin last night and it does make a difference.

no harm to play with it and see does it help, you can always set it back to default if it's not working.
 
agree completely!!! my be my FAVORITE thing about PC tuning... I see some people on youtube vidoes where their steering wheel is going MAD and TONS of movement... I like mine to be nice and tight and precise... must be my sport bike days....
but that is the single easiest way to get a tune transferred from the game through the wheel to your style!

You dont have to give up the 69. I know how bad you want to run that amazing #:lol:. Plus if we team up the team lexus noise would start all over again, oh the memories, haha. On a side note i do believe we may have picked up our 15th driver, which leaves one spot left:eek:. Boy there will be some bummed out drivers standing in line trying to get in real soon.
