I'll try to be. That's usually the time where parents take over the good TV, so my time may be limited.

I won't be getting into any driving battles - as some may know, I'm currently using by index finger for the right analogue stick because of my hand injury.

My dad plays GT5P sometimes, but he doesn't race online cause he doesn't want to wreck other people's races because he isn't very consistent and misses braking markers etc. I said to him tonight would be a good time to have a go and practice online racing where it doesn't really matter as much, but he said "I can't race with your username, you're too famous." One day I'll get him racing.

Only a few hours before the start now.👍 Unfortunately nobody came and showed any interest for a USA meet to me this week, so I can't see it happening. I don't think Suzuka is a good track for cruises, too tight and technical, but you get what you're given. A perfect track for cruises as demonstrated by Powercruise is QLD Raceway (my home town track). I will try and get as many people in a PSN chat as possible for the cruise too.

So basically we just cruise in a group? Not at full pace? I'll probably cruise, then every known then, gun it and get the Vette a bit sideways.

A kei car? Swift/Tuned? I still can't decide what car, still leaning towards the Mustang. Learnt that after half a week's worth of not driving I've forgotten how to.

Edit: I might even take a wildly tuned up Z06. Edit 2: Or not, a standard Vette on S3s is nearly at the PP limit already. Oooh, decisions decisions , if it was GT5 I'd just take a 700hp Holden.

I'm thinking of taking the Ford GT. I just drove it for 30 mins at DR on S2's. Such a nice balanced car, and oh the sound. I think i'll be taking the Ford GT.👍

I've definitely decided on a car for this. It's a ZR1 replica with compromises. It uses S1 tyres which basically means standard Z06 tyres which I've counter balanced with TLD suspension, around 10kw down on power, but also a couple kgs down on weight. Obviously the power curve isn't as electric, so I've installed nice Suzuka specific gear ratios to compromise. Like I said, a ZR1 with compromises, obviously handling isn't a must have in this race, but she reaches 270km/hr on Suzuka's straight.

Oh and Tizzla, since you're from NZ I accepted your request, we'll be online at similar times anyway so it makes sense.👍

Just a reminder, to all those on my friends list there is a party at my Log Cabin on Home afterwards.👍

Sorry guys, my stupid car did not work out, so I'll probably be bringing a Vette, Viper or Ford GT.

I'm in the Ford GT, I have S1's fitted. It also has max power(513KW) and minimum weight. So it's very fast in a straight line. I set the gear ratio's myself, mainly for straights. So the gear changes are very fast(F1 Style). Fast gear changes also sets me up well for drifting. But i've basically set my car up for drag and drift, and general fun.

Lap time wise, it'll do a 2'10.(but that's not the point of tonight)
Speed wise, it'll do around 270km/h down the main straight. Scared to think of what it'll do in the draft.
Drift wise, Very easy and overall great fun.

Can't wait till we get started, Tizzla has set up a PSN chat.👍

How come a GT gets over 500kw and allowed Min weight when a Z06 doesn't even come close to that?

Damn, Tizzla beat me to setting up the chat. Cruise starts in one hour.

I was a bit surprised to see that it was allowed to produce over 500KW as well. But i'm fine with it.

EDIT: Sorry made a mistake with my stats, on S1's it gets +8 power and +14 weight. Therefore i'll be running N3's with MAX power and MIN weight, but i'll be 6pp under the limit... Is that ok?

EDIT 2: Does HOME need to be updated? If so I may take a bit longer to get there.
