Am I right in thinking that the 24 superstars race doesn't count towards the 'season' which is what you gain points for?

My theory is that the regular races all add up to points gained in a season, that season is then won by the person with the most points (only 3 top scores count).

The Top 24 event is a sort of sideshow just featuring the top 24 based on DR.

Hi , yes that was great fun on Suzuka , it's my preferred track on GT since long time ;

I meet my friend by hazard , it is an old friend with them I race long time ago on LAN session on GT4
(He is an alien )

It's quite the opposite if I understand you correctly. If you don't make the top 24 superstar race you will not win the relevant cup. You get a baseline of 2000 points (Even if you finish last) and then 300% bonus on top of whatever points you would have gotten. Depending on the strength you could be talking 12,000+ points for the 1 race. In my personal opinion it's way to much and probably needs reducing a little. Even just a flat line 2000 then the additional points on top is plenty as is, but that's a different topic I guess ?

Literally all of this, but then I hope if you can't make a top 24 superstar race on a few of the rounds at least make it so you aren't out straight away so that top 24 has the highest rating (Which it should) so you get like 2500/3000 max but lets say the lobby after you can max get 1800 points. That way you have a hill to climb but at least you're not totally out if you miss the 12,000 point battle haha.

I want a global top 24 superstars with commentary on as I think that race would be astonishing to watch, whether I'm in it or not!

I've also noticed when I've looked at 'Players Met' on my Playstation app after a number of FIA races I see an account called GT-BROADCAST. Only public info is the language is 'Japanese' so must be someone at PD testing broadcasts or just spying on us!

Edit: Also seen a GT-LIVE_GB01 account for the first time after the Gr1 race at Interlagos. Must be increasing testing then ready for the season proper to start in April

Lets hope they saw the issue with you starting on the chicane then and fix it

My race was a complete disaster. bad quali (blocked on 1 lap by someone coming out of the pits and messing up my other lap in the last corner) and 2 spins (both my fault). Ended up 22 second of the lead on lap 1 and lost another 10 second on lap 7. The rest of the race I only lost a total of 8 seconds so I had pretty good race pace which made it even more frustrating.



Looking forward to the races on Saturday as both Nation and Manufactures should be good fun
