Top 8 cut off predictions

So its been a day, most of the big names have checked in with a time, what do you think the combined top 8 cut off time will be for your region?

I'm in the Midwest and I think a 3:59.0 will be good enough - it's currently at 4:00.329. I've got .7 to shave by Thursday night cause I'm gone Friday to Monday.

No replays for Eifel is really going to separate the naturally talented from the copy cats. While there is lots of time to make up, it's hard to know exactly where you're slow.

(and nothing against copy cats, wish I could think of a less demeaning name, some people learn differently and it's common place to follow a faster driver's line or review a teammate's data to find where you can improve.)

Absolutely, in fact I think a 4:02 will cut it. On a related note, anyone else notice that the northeast leaderboard at gran-turismo.com is just the midwest again?

But yah, anyone with a 4:02 in the NE should just stop now.

you can get pretty greedy with turn 11 @ indy, but it will red you if the car gets off the paved apron. Other than that it's pretty sensitive now. I've had a lap dumped for lightly brushing a wall with the wing mirror.

You can definitely go a full 2 wheels off on Eifel. Haven't tried 3 or if it counts an 'off' at the centerline vis a vis Iracing. I am a little bit worried when I see unfamiliar people suddenly jump into the top 10 and we can't see replays.

I feel ya man. Worst part is because the NE leaderboard isn't working i can only see how far I'm dropping on the national leaderboards....17 spots already today...

ive found a bunch of spots on eifel to go 2 off, only like 1 or 2 of them actually benefit times. also not telling, the only times my tires hit the grass are to get the car sideways going into a 2 of the banked corners

When I posted my times yesterday late afternoon, I was 2nd in the country - now I'm down to 8th, and I'll be lucky to be in the top 10 by dinner time tonight. If Forced and Embriodak take off a couple tenths, and 3wide/fix show up - I'll be at the 8th bubble spot in the NE...maybe worse

Tonight I won't get a ton of time, but hope to get into the 2:17's at Eifel and maybe take off some time (any time...) at Indy. Eventually I'll need to get to the 3:57's, but now I'm not even sure if that's safe.
