The West is super tight as well (only .8 between 1st and 10th atm). In fact, our bubble spot is .023 quicker than the NE's 8th place :scared:

Fortunately for me I'm starting to get fairly comfortable @ Eifiel after about 4-5 hours of seat time (blah), so I will just keep pushing and hope for the best. I just hope this damn snow storm (in California!?) which is supposed to come in tonight doesn't wreak havoc with my electricity or internet connection over the weekend :ouch:

My wife is in Cali right now and was complaining about how cold it was. Considering when she left Missouri it was negative temps. Apperently it's quite cold in the bay area.

Ya right, dude - keep it snowing. I'm actually going to miss Saturday evening and all of Sunday because I'm flying out to Tahoe for a week of skiing.

Wow, 3:56. NE is the fastest chariot in country right now, being reigned by Zis.

beautiful. :dopey:

Thank you, thank you very much

I'd like to see you in Flawda, but not more than I'd like to see myself!
Whooo Hooo Tahoe!

The gap from me to 8th is now 0.4!

WTF, in the west TRC Hunk just got bumped to 9th, and S_Diem still hasnt posted times. Where were these other guys in Round 1?

S_Diem should show himself this weekend, can almost bet. TimeAttack finally got up to where I expected him, so anyone else is really unexpected.

I've been following these posts since the beginning of the academy. Im in he west, and let me just say, DAMN - you boys are fast. Im currently sitting at 10th on eifel with a 17.57 - but i know I gotta cut another .2 if I wanna be competitive.

Anywho - just wanted to pop in and say it was great racing against you guys!!

I was like 40 in round 1, and never picked up the wheel until we started this round.

Only had my first session at indy this morning, haven't touched eifel yet, i'll probably give it a go sat. night.

I love it man :D If only I knew the principles behind getting fast rather than just trial and error, I might be able to post up times fast...maybe I should go do some reading and learnin. Either way, I'm closer to the top than I've been every other round, and I don't intend to stop now. Not sure if I can string the right laps together but at least I know its possible. I've gotta stay away from the top replays though, because I actually think I'm faster when following my own line and trying to just beat myself.

3 seconds back from Kris and 2 seconds back from 8th how convenient :D lol.

Haven't touched indy since tuesday morning before work. This weekend will be my major push, and I'm sure I'm not the only working stiff who's gotta do it this way.

My plan all along has been to force forced to be faster than me to make it through sooo I'm comin for ya buddy ;)

edit: congrats on the 39.9 kris.

DOCTOR_ILL just took 1st place int he West and 2nd place overall? Dammmmmmmm.

On a side note, out of the top 20 overall, 8 are from the West & 8 are from Northeast. Only 4 other drivers from Midwest are in the top 20, and the Southeast is well behind everyone, right now 43rd overall gets you to Orlando in the Southeast.

It mostly comes down to seat time bro, even if you know the fundamentals behind going fast, its all about how effectively you can execute them which comes from lots of practice.

and yeah zissou is def. killing it, still dont know how he's able to when he spends most of his time playing Skate

timeattack, Carl, EERS, zissou, Choate, Fix, Forced, Glenn good luck guys 👍

Good luck to you too man. I know I'm gonna need it. Competition is fierce right now. I wasn't able to do any laps at all Wednesday and I may not be able to do any tonight. Spent all my time at Indy last night, and only knocked off a little over a tenth. Can see few more tenths there, maybe even a sub 1'40, but it's so tough to put a lap together there, at least for me. Indy is a much more technically demanding track than many give it credit for.

And a big congrats to all those guys at the top right now--Mr. Zissou, TA, Choate, Fix by Wire, etc. You guys are tearing it up 👍 This is going to be a nail biter down to the very end...

Dude, don't get my hopes up!

Honestly though, I'd just give up if I were you. :sly:

lol well, i honestly have another tenth at indy, and at least 2 tenths on eifel, but after that im toast. WHY COULDNT I BE IN ANOTHER REGION!! lol i thought for a while that 3:57.9 was gonna be the cutoff, RONG.

good luck to everyone, this weekend is gonna be insane
