Staying out of this argument,,,

My Ferrari Enzo does 262.8 line to line. I'm pretty sure I could get 263 flat with a run up from the banking.

Someone mentioned earlier no one has provided any proof of their results...

Of note all times are with zero driving aids, including TCS - 0

Here ya go Corpsey 👍

Since the Stage3 Turbo is for higher RPM, wouldn this be the SetUp for HighSpeed?? Why is the Stage2 Setup getting higher Speeds???

Thanks for lighting me up

Sorry for being away.. I just really am not too thrilled with how hard it is to collect data this time.. last time we had all of SSR7 to lap and post a speed.. this time we have the straight, which is good and all.. but how do I know if people posting here have used the whole course or the straight to get their speed?.... Anyways.. Smuttysy have you tryed matching some of these peoples speeds yet on the straight alone? I don't want to input data to your sheet if it hasn't..... which sucks because I really have no way to tell if the people from non-english speaking countries are posting speeds only from the straights or not (and I'm not sure how to enforce that either).

Anyways I'll update the initial post with the top 20 cars.

Simple, really. In the speed test the speed is recorded by the game, in free run it is not. So if a speed seems to be unlikely to be possible during speed test, ask for screenshot (of the results screen) :)

Might I also add:

Car: Subaru 360
Top Speed: 179.0 km/h

:D

I'm saying though well for one I don't really want the thread to be littered to hell with pictures (which will probably happen anyways) and for 2, the run may end and the cars haven't really achieved their top speeds....

I'm of the opinion that speeds that need more than 10km to be achieved are hardly realistic top speeds.

Well, for Bonneville maybe, but that's a little different isn't it?

Update for GT-R Black edition
Car: GT-R Black edition '12
Top Speed: 257.1mph
Turnig around at start and starting in the curve: 257.3. (not impressed)
Top Speed (Drafting):
PP Min/Max: * 649
Aero Front Min/Max: stock
Aero Rear Min/Max: stock

(257.1)This was done at the Speedtest, topspeed run from standstill at start.

I only found how fast this was by finally fully modding it for the acceleration test. My favorite car for any situation. Green Hell, stock, topspeed, you name it.

You can catch me online hosting (GT-R vs ....)

You have to understand though that people are now competing for the top sped in this DISTANCE instead of overall top speed. There's a difference, a small one you're right with the distance given, but still it's different.

At Bonneville for the real world speed trials the track is shorter than 10k. It is actually only 5 miles or 8.04672 kilometers. So with about 2 extra km over what is used in the real world I'd say it should be long enough

It's okay if you don't believe me, but I just got 550 kph in the X2011 now. And I've done 588 kph in the X2010 at SSR7 in the past, but I don't remember what setup I used and I can't do it again. And yes I used the suspension/downforce trick.

Since when? I'm competing for Top Speed pure and simple.

Yes but with the distance given the isnt that much of a difference. Personally all think all top speed runs should be done on the speed test whether or not they get a run from the banking. All my speeds are close to or match runs from the banking.

Matched your 262.8 MPH - I forgot to fully do weight reduction on my Enzo.

I've got a feeling that's as far as the Enzo will go. I've been tinkering and havent got anything more so I'd feel comfortable saying that's all she's got.
