Looks like tonight will be the night for me to do some real laps, been so busy this week.

after terrible schitt week i finally am able to breath easy and do a session here. nice and productive first session yields a 50.4 and a prett good end of lap speed as well. glad this week is over that's for sure. no i can do a little racin.

great work for all the hopeless romatic voters who made this italian car/ italian track combo happen 👍

laters

My best splits in the race were 56.7 and 50.8 (not a clean race though..) :embarrassed:

The right after T1 is a pain in the a$$ :irked:

Yep ... I'll still run the odd spot race on occasion but this it for comps 👍 It's been fun ;)

is it that bad without me?? :P

Actually it's very peaceful with you not barking at me on IM everyday :D 👍

Nice sectors coming in  looks like it could be quite close at the front :)

@ Herbie, love the sig mate

@ gtonline, sorry that you have to drop out, hope you return when you can.

This place is starting to look like it is full of zombies, with all of the jaw dropping & EEK smilies getting used! LOL

I've had a 56.3 lap 1 T2 also, even finished the lap off nicely...

lap 2 was a different story though :(

Averaging 56.5's lap 1's and 51.0's lap 2's :irked:

for some reason i simply can not get a lpa 1 t2 under 56.7 so i guess i'll have to be happy with what i got this week. second lap was quite ok so i think i'm done unless my partner shows me where i'm goofin lap 1

Not an easy combo at all :irked: tried a lot of sessions today and I made a ****ty .3 of a second :embarrassed: ...anyway I hate walled courses for such a wide ass :D

Time submitted has 56.2 / 50.3

Oh the joy! :odd: I just remembered ?... straight onto another walled course! ... whoopeeee doo :irked:

Congrats to the fast guys btw ;)

I'm still running my best race with T2 = 57.7 on lap 1 and 52.1 on lap 2. I'll practice a little bit more tonight, and then I'll post my times. I hope I can get closer to you, freaks.

Finally got some time to run some first laps (late, I know), ran 10 in free run & then ran 5 races. T2’s banked in my clean run are 57.7 & 51.8. Should get some more time tonight & tomorrow.

@ Mr P, wide ass…LMAO :D

@ Womble, about time you stuck you head in :P

@ Prancing Horse, enjoying the Zonda! You need help my friend ;)

@ Dango & Flinx, sorry to hear that you guys can not take part in the current series of Torc. There are something’s that are much more important, like r/l Hope to see you guys back on the track soon

Replay sent to your email Pete 👍

close call whilst riding pavement at the end of lap 2, but I checked it thoroughly and its 100% clean with no speed loss at all, only speed increase :D

I'm getting dejavu here :P

Good Luck to all

I still haven't managed to get a clean race, and my frustration is slowly rising :D

I think this will be my last GT3 competition. I've been racing comps for over 2 years now, i've had enough of it.
It was fun, but i simply don't enjoy it as much as i used to do.

I will finish this one though, don't worry P. ;)

Got the clean race, but otherwise I have to admit I'm enjoying GT4 Prologue a hell of a lot more. I hope things start moving in the GT4 direction firmly soon, because like you I'm almost ready to say goodbye to GT3 (except perhaps some iLinks).

What, however, also doesn't help is that normally I would run the Zonda with TCS on this track. So this is new territory for me and I don't really like it, I have to be more careful and if I push to get even within 4 seconds of Hugo it's just too easy to crash with the wheel, no option to correct and bye bye. This is the first time I remember taking part in a Torc race where that's a real issue.

i have a question Tosk: in the past, the spirit of the rules is that as long as you do not initiate AI contact and said contact is light, it is permitted. that being said, in the lineup i use, the car in front of me moves out of my way and as i am passing him (still in a pin straight line) he comes back in and rubs me even though i have passed his rear wheel and i'm in the process of passing him (still in a pin straight line). he rubs me so lightly that there is no audible clanking of body contact (though clearly he does rub me) is this permissable?? basically, he invades my line when i've already passed half his car and i am making no deviation whatsover from my straight line. what is your judgement??

but this is not nessesary. i'm not touching anything, something is touching me. too bad about that though mich. maybe you should ask for a judgement from tosk on things like this.

I had the same problem with my best lap. I hadn't heard any 'bang' during the race, but I saw on the replay that car #2 slightly touched the back of my car when coming back into the racing line after I passed it. Since I'm overwriting my replay, that was my only replay left. Too bad... :(

2 out of 5 different line ups gave me the lead from bend 1 onwards :P ... maybe looking for a better line up was the answer ;) maybe too late to say that but still? .... there's about 23 hours left aint there? 👍

My first clean race of the week:

56.3 / 50.6

Nothing special, but it'll do. Maybe i'll improve myself tonight, when i'll drive some more races. But atleast i have something saved:D

Damn, i just screwed up four 55.8's in a row:banghead:

@ Max, good question, in simple, yes that contact you have described is allowed (not encouraged), as you are in a straight line, if you were corning, it would be a different story. As for the initiation of the contact, this does not matter, if you got an advantage from an AI contact that you did not initiate it would not be allowed. I hope I have not confused you ;)

@ banjobear, even I am confused after read your post on the wolf clock ;)

Just over 20 hours to go…****, I’d better get some more laps in now!! ;)

one more thing tosk, due to perpetual sharkport disk and module problems that make uploads for me take atleast an hour at a time, may i be permitted to submit my replays at the conclusion of the comp or even half in the middle and half in the end?

P.S. my current best time has no contact at all. and it's highly possible i'll find another good lineup that does not include this ai contact we spoke of earlier. i would'nt have asked had i been turning even slightly.

Time submitted using the replay email. Replay included. I tried to use the TORC web site to submit but it was giving me error messages

Time and replay sent to E-mail addy also ;) Oh and I gave wrong total...just change that 6 to a 3 at the very end :0

Not very pleased with my time here, considering the effort I just put into it today alone  No improvement on my time from earlier in the week...thank god it's over with! :D

Yea that's part of the track, just dont hit any walls and you're OK ( the sidewalk at the end portion is ok also )

Edit: Time + Replay + Vote for next race all submitted in one e-mail to you TOSK.

Not had any time this week to race so i've got to get some laps done before 10 :(

Sorry to my team mate:(
